Opinions on Console Exclusives

I want to hear your thoughts on console exclusives.

I feel they good for competition because they can entice you buy a system, regardless of whether you owned another system or not.

They are good, because competition between consoles gives us very good products from time to time. If everything were "unificated" we would get approximately average product, and if you'll remember golden rule of "80% of everything is shit" that "average" product would be closer to the bottom of quality, than it is to a higher standarts, as without competitions companies wouldn't have any reason to work their ass off.
