Out of the current known roster, which character do you like most?

For me, I think I like Aeon, or Zwei the most. I will have to spend a long time playing them though and trying to learn the styles to decide for sure.

Of course I have always prefered female over male characters due to looks, because to be honest it was probably cas's cute figure that sold me on Soul Calibur 2 which is where I started, irregardless of the fact that I played Talim more, A screenshot at gamespot of cas is what sold it ot me. Also I think Xiangua had some influence but I can't remember my teen years too clearly right now.

That said, yeah I really dig Aeons style, I would love to see some good videos of Aeon play, I can't wait to see it all and play it. I won't write anyone off, even Voldo looks awesome to me now.

I would say I am least excited by Maxi, but that's just me! What about you guys? What are your impressions of the current roster?
 
I am also least excited for Maxi. Viola is my girl, I love her gothic red riding hood appearence,and I love her gypsy fortune teller motif. The only thing I'm not digging aesthetics wise is her claw...I think it's cliche and a little off putting. As for style, she works exactly like the type of players I prefer. I tremendously enjoy tactical gameplay, specifically bait and trap.
 
I wouldn't say I LIKE him, but I'm reeeeally interested to see more info on Xiba...

Oh, and ZWEI looks like a standard anime badass guy, but I'll forgive him if I like how he plays :D

Of the new characters... No one really. I guess Pat doesn't look so bad, but I doubt I'll use him since the gameplay I've seen of him doesn't really suit my style. So, yeah.
 
Truthfully, no one's given me that Setsuka feel yet. Quite a few characters I'm going to play with. Viola's probably at the top of the listfor now due to a few things.
 
The only one of my mains that have made it into this game so far is Cervantes. He seems to be cool in this.

I'm looking to try out patroklos and pyrrha as well since they're the closest things to cassandra(even if they're not very close).

Recently, I've become interested in trying out Zwei. I didn't like him at all at first, but more recent videos have made him look awesome.
 
I always loved Tira! But later my favorite characters also became Siegfried and Raphael. I liked to play too often Kilik and Mina but I didn't have any special reasons for like them. In SCV Zwei and Viola looks interesting , as for me = D
 
In all seriousness, I'm not sure who I am looking forward to. Viola, probably, until someone who has a higher learning curve shows up.
 
Hard to say. Viola's obviously a great addition to the roster, and I really like how Raphael and Aeon have been buffed. I'm definitely going to give them a closer look before I check out my mains Mitsurugi and Siegfried.
 
Pyrrha is probably the only one I'm completely interested in at the moment, but there are a few others that I could see myself trying. I'll give Viola a shot, and then maybe Hilde or Patroklos too. This is just one of those situations where I have to know the full roster, even if I have to unlock my main(s). I've gotten used to having to do so anyway.
 
oh shoot. I had to apologize to Tira since i kinda forgot about her. she's definitely looking well. i was disappointed at her lack of power and speed in SC4. you got to have one or the other. now that she looks balanced out I will definitely transition my like for Tira over to SC5. and the fact that I don't have to cringe when I hear her jolly voice now is a BIG +. =D
 
I've given this much thought and I feel my top 5 are
1. ZWEI (I already liked him when they first revealed him. I'm a sucker for Gothic characters so he naturally drew me in the aesthetics department. And after watching some game play videos of him, I'm in love with his fighting style. I think it's pretty neat and of course, lovable Ein is great too. I mean, I'm even going to change my CAS persona character to his style. All in all, I'm most anxious to try him out first.)
2. Viola (Like I said with ZWEI, I'm a sucker for Gothic characters so of course Viola appeared to me. Her outfit is pretty cool, including her gypsy look. Her fighting style is pretty neat too. I think I'm going to have fun using her.)
3. Natsu (Appearance wise, I still am not all that fond of her look. She still screams "Naruto" reject too me. However, when I saw game play of her, I really think she has a great moveset. She looks like a lot of fun to use so yeah. I still don't like her aesthetics wise but her moveset is really great in my opinion.)
4. Ivy (I love how they designed Ivy. She looks way better then she did in 4. So aesthetics wise, love her look. Her moves are looking great too. It looks like they removed that ridicuous coil state and that's cool. I prefer her original stances of sword and whip. I think she'll be fun to play.)
5. Patroklos (Appearance wise, I didn't much care for his look. But his moveset is pretty cool. After watching a few game play videos, he seems like he'll be a lot of fun to use.)

And for others, I already am liking Siegfried, Aeon, Tira, and Xiba
