Partisan's Cassandra Punishment Videos

SCPartisan

Holy Moly
Hey everyone I just uploaded the first one.
Watch out for the audio, I seemed to have made it extremely quiet -_-
Let me know if you have any suggestions for future installments!

lol you didnt manage to do one iGDR? wtf. Its almost the same input as 236 with Cass!

Scruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuub :)

Cool 2 videos in 2 days, good work Partisan. Couple of other honorable mentions against Kilik, duck and 236: etc against 6AAA, and 2B+K after the first hit of asura punishes the first hit, pokes them out of the 2nd and counter hits the 3rd regardless of if they do it or not (not as good damage, but, you don't have to react to them ending asura early or risk them landing the guard break jf at the end).

Thanks Andur, I would include evade punishes too but for now the focus is on block punishment. I'll probably do a duck/jump punish vid series after. Thanks for the input regardless ^^

Nice vids Partisan. Interesting and very helpful for anyone who wants to improve his punishment skill with Cass.

However, I notice few mistakes :

1AA, B2A & SSH AA are -16 on block, not -15. You should know that FC 236 is still i16, so... If you can punish with deathfist, it's definitely -16.

1B : -16 on block > 236.

22 & 88 > Beware ! 236 can be beaten by evade SSH/SRSH 2B+K and SCH B (Sieg on right side). Same thing with 44.

What I suggest :

88 to SSH : Best thing to do is 66[K]
TJ > Beat SSH A+B (whiff) > Punish with BT B+K (short timing)
TC > Beat SSH K : 28 dgms + BT mind game (BT 2K, BT B+K, BT Throw, BT low Throw)
Sligthly antistep > Beat SSH 2B+K (Sieg on the right side), and beat 8B+K (But only at close range). Keep in mind that Sieg have to 2B+K if he doesn't want to take 236 in his face.

22 to SRSH :
236AB is the key. Beat all Sieg's moves and evades. Except SRSH 4B+K bashdash to SSH at tip range.

Random tips :
After Sieg's 11 to SCH (on block); if Sieg try to evade using 8B+K (SCH), 236 gives you a free low back throw. But it doesn't work with 2B+K evade (Sieg on the right side).

I'm going to check your Kilik and Ivy's punishment vids, and give some feedbacks.

Ivy :

SW 22B : -13 > AA
SW 1KBK > Backdash after 1K and whiff punish (236, 33B etc...)
SW 1KB > 33B
SW 66A > AA
SW 44A > 236
SW 44K > 4BB:A or 236B
SW 1B > FC 236B

SW 22K > Most of the Ivy use SW 2A+K, which is only -15 on block. So prefer FC 236B as punishment.

WP 22B > 236

Tips :
About A+B A+K. You can punish it very well. Block the mid and the low, then drop you guard : the last hit will whiff. Punish with 236 or 33B (short timing).

About WP 6B+K 4_6 : If you step the first hit and block only the second one, pushback will be much less important. So if you are at close/middle~close range, you can punish with 66A+B:4.

Here's my own punishment list about Ivy :
CL 1A > 236
CL 3B > 236
9gB (ou SW 9B) > 236
CL A+B A+K > 236 (lâcher sa garde avant le dernier hit pour provoquer le whiff et punir)
CL 6 A+B (Close range) > 236
CL 33A (Close range) > AA
CL 66BA > 236
CL 44B/CL 44BB > 236
CL 214 (Close) > 236/6B/66A+B

SW 1A > AA
SW 1B > FC 236B
SW WS B > AA
SW A+B ou SW (A+B) > 236
SW 2A+B > 236
SW 9B+K K > FC 236B
SW 2A+K > FC 236B
SW 44K > 236B ou 4BB:A (si Ivy atterrie à vos pieds)
SW 22B > AA
SW 66A > AA
SW 44A > 236

WP AA (close) > 236
WP 3A > 236
WP 2A > 236B
WP 1A / WP 1AA > 236
WP 6B (Close) > 236
WP FC 3B > FC 236B
WP A+B > 236
WP 4A+B > 236
WP 22B > 236
WP 66B > AA
WP 44BB > 236
WP 33B > 236
WP 22 A > BT B+K

SE A+K > 236
SE K > 236

From my own guide : http://soulcalibur.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=7749&sid=5ebeb249c80100ba2a43efcdc784c59b, but only in french sadly

9gB and WP 3A are so hard to punish with 236 T__T

Thanks for the feedback Eggmaster!

I should have went over my findings a bit more, as I recorded them at like 4:00 am the day I did it o_O. I tend to mixup all the FC 236B/ 236B/ frames when I'm tired :/ as you can see with some of the mistakes you found in the sieg vid.

Good Partisan, adding some stuffs if you are interested :

- Cr B : Can be punished by WR B !
- 3B : Punish it with 4BB:A. Don't care about about 3BB, not a problem for Cass ahaha (give it a try !)
- 66A+BB : 236 (or duck on 66A+BK)
- 66A : 236 I guess.

Thanks for the notes, I forgot to mention that I forgot to record 3B/3BB but both are punishable and I guess 4BB:A negates the mixup :P (I usually went for 4B+K).
