PS3 Weekly get together

If I ever get done this work I would love to try playing with some 8wayrun people. I have never actually played with anyone from here before on any SC game ; _ ;
PS. my connection varies from decent to bad
 
Is it really laggier just if you go in a distant gc like baghdad? I thought those were just name labels and didn't really affect the connection no matter where you were from.

Yeah, they're only really laggier in theory. If a lot of local players hung out in a room, then it'd be laggier. Since they're unpopulated, it doesn't really matter.
 
this sounds like a great idea,just might be hard to get it going right at first,well im up for it, love to vs more people and need more experience with good players

im from england btw so my connection is usually at best 3 with US players but suprisingly there isnt really any lag for me in 3 bars
 
Someone gonna go online on the weekend? Also where should I check for 8wr members global or just search for the room?
 
lol, I'm at work right now and ppbly I won't play today (new episode of the walking death the game) but I'll be online the whole weekend.
 
I gotta go to University in an hour and I wont be back until 9 PM probably. I too will likely be around during the weekend. Maybe Saturday night would be best for this to go through?
 
for me personally im usually not here on the weekends, i only really have weekdays after around 5pm UK time,hopefully ill still be able to get together with some people on these times?
 
I'm out of town this weekend but I'll be down to do this every other day during the week (Mon, Wed, Fri) and whenever on weekends.
 
Who's up for this tomorrow evening? I'll prolly go into whatever GC room around 6pm EST and play some folks for a while.
 
Let's go for the Baghdad GC. I probably won't be on until like 8 or 9 eastern though. Anyone who wants to take a shot at my Tekken and DOA weakened Natsu is welcome. PSN of course for me.
 
If I get this painting and scanning stuff done then I will pop in to get my butt kicked~ It would also be fun to join and get some pointers or something. I really would like to improve at the game.
