[PSN/XBL] New Player Development Matchmaking

As many others, I've picked up SC:V and I haven't played since SC:III; I started with ZWEI but he seems for more advanced players than myself so I'm using Patroklos, anyway, I'm pretty free for time being. I'm used to all forms of 2D fighters this actually my first 3D so be easy.

Just joined a few moments ago gotta say this seems to be a great community. I was wondering if anyone in Florida would be interested in showing me the ropes with nightmare. I am on XBL my gt is Usedtobezylem. I have a decent background in fighters but most have been 2D, like guilty gear and blaze blue. Please feel free the PM me or message me on xbox. Hey anybody think they can show me the ropes with Soul Calibur V? I've always wanted to become good at a fighting game , especially this one. I'm not particularly new to fighting games, just new to the competitive scene. Training mode just isn't cutting it for me lol. Thanks in advance guys

New SC player here, and I love the idea of finding a mentor or group on XBL to train with. If anyone is interested, my gamertag is Delious. I currently am playing Z.W.E.I. and Raphael.

Hello! I'm not brand new to the series, I put a lot of time in on SCII, but my interest waned during SCIII and I only really dabbled in SCIV, looking to get back into the series to a decent level with SCV though.

Anyone in Europe, feel free to add me on PSN/SEN and just mention 8 Way Run in the invitation and I will add you. I have also had relatively decent games against a few East Coast American's but obviously YMMV.

I'm up for learning Nightmare better, after maining Sieg in SCIV/SCIII and Nightmare in SCII, with Sieg as my primary alt and I really want to learn Ezio as he fits in so well to the cast imo. Would like practice against anyone and everyone ideally!

I've been trying to get good on SCV, but no luck so far... I'm on XBL (GT: Harajuku Trap) if anyone is down to show me the ropes, I'd be quite grateful!
 
Lol only newbies are posting on this thread. Well I started learning on my own (and i'm sure i'm not the only one) so if you guys wanna group up we can probably figure things out faster. I'm on @ night alot around 11pm eastern united states so if you guys wanna add me you can. Read my last post a couple of people up for my gamertag. Would be great for learning match ups too. Im gonna main Mitsu just to learn the basics and lizard man (Aeon) once I feel like im decent enough with the gameplay mechanics.

What helped me the most was going the the character's forum I wanted to main and asking questions there. I met plenty of people that gave me advice on things to focus on, and from that I was able to make a sorta check list that as I feel I've gotten one thing down I know where to go next. Plus the mods were nice and one even PMed me to talk strategy and how I should be thinking. I hope this helps others new to the game.

sup guys! just got SC5 today.. i'm really rusty... ive been in UMVC3 but i haven't forgot the basic of SC. i'm looking to find a new main to fit my little "rushdown" gameplay. anybody up for helping me out?
 
anybody want to help turn me, a complete noob to sc, into at least a decent player? lol. i play tekken, so i'm not too much of a noob when it comes to 3d fighting. add me!!
