Ok, so basically two people on my friends list give me issues now and thats about it. The rest either refuse to play me or deliberately sandbag for fear ill kick their ass in tournament play later on. I don't give a damn about sandbagging, short-term deception can win once or twice but I don't need to rely on parlor tricks. It's not my style, I feel solid.

It's just frustrating, I cannot grow if I am not continually challenged. Tournaments are always great for keeping my progression in plain view, but they don't sustain these cravings for a challenge when I get home and go back to the same stuff. Last time someone sought me out they said they were "actually a good player from 8way", sent me a friend request, and invited me to some games.

I think I beat him like 15-1 or something. He removed me from his friends list immediately. I never even said a word to him.

This is the kind of crap I have to put up with. I love tournaments but I play this game because I love the challenge and the learning experience that comes from every day progression. If I'm not continually challenged I'm just going through the motions and deteriorating. Offline play is limited in scope for me due to my location, but this netcode is really good -- I can still get better with it and Astaroth really doesn't live inside of lag tactics due to lows not being a particular large part of his game.

Look... I just want a challenge. I know there are still people out there who can provide one. My head isn't so big yet that it's going to pop, I don't talk shit and I have a high tolerance for extended ass beatings (rare as they have become).

This post isn't about bragging. So to the reader, I'm not saying I'm better than you. I'm saying I can be. I am dedicated to that cause completely. Give me the matches, please. If you can destroy me then please do it because I can't find anyone that can and it's halting everything I want to accomplish. I need to drown myself in a torrent of pain and frustration, it's been so long since I felt it. I just don't run into people who can do that anymore.

I think I tend to repress asta mirror matches out of memory. It just seems like hardcore rock paper scissors at every distance and pisses me off. Something about it feels.... random. I don't know. It's been a while though.

Some euro connections I have are decent since im east coast but its sorta hit and miss. Always up for an attempt though.
 
How are you having a hard time finding players in New York? I thought that was one of the better scenes on the East Coast. Now up here in Vermont.... yeah, THAT'S where it's pretty damn barren.

Anyway, add me on PSN (ClaTheNinja) if you want to test yourself against Viola. You seem pretty blood-thirsty, and that's just the spirit I need to really bring out the best in my new-and-improved Viola.

I only get to play good players who smash me once or twice before they get bored and move on. Can't blame them. I've also been smashed by people the first time who I end up smashing the next time or two and they get bored and move on. I wish losing was a problem for me.

Everyone Refers Ramon, Dreamkiller and SU for the New York scene There's other out there also. Like Serge but atm I do believe most New Yorkers are heading to MLG.
 
Rochester New York is a 7 hour drive to NYC, so in case anyone is thinking im living among of a hive of talent.... eh, nope. I've got KowTow and Cha an hour out from here, and the toronto boys three/four hours north. And I do try to play with them for tournies, but it can't be an every day thing.

Our matches are interesting, and nine times out of ten ill take a match with you over someone else. Chaoticity puts a load more pressure on me though, and I honestly couldn't tell you why. With you, I feel the worst I'll do is hover around or a little less than even. At best, there's mornings where I'm just trolling you with Asta B+K over and over again.

I've only ever come out positive against chaoticity once (which was the most recent, so i like to think thats improvement on my part), but he's completely destroyed my ass countless nights. Sadly, awesome as he is, he always seems to have some kind of controller related issues that keeps him from playing. Kind of.... hmm... but there it is.

Yea I played KilikABeast this morning. Pretty good Natsu, lot more turtling than I am used to seeing out of her. Very solid, but couldn't really overwhelm me with that playstyle. Asta is just too good at range. Not sure if he got lazy and hit the power button in the last match or had a legit rage quit (which i doubt), but I chuckled either way.

I'll get you added and we can try something out. May have to be after this weekend though, got a long drive ahead of me tomorrow for MLG.

Mine and Chaoticity play styles are Different he puts loads of more pressure during his fights than I do. While I play defensively until I figured you out then crush you. The Voldo players are starting to hate fighting me because I force them to play differently since I have played them enough times to know what I need to do to shut them down same with Leixia players. If you don't catch on fast that I already figured out your style then the Match will be over quickly. It's a risky play style but it is also rewarding.
