Kung Fu Star David Carradine Dead at 73

Actor David Carradine was found dead in his Bangkok hotel room, according to reports.

Carradine, 73, was in Thailand filming a movie when he died, his agent told WABC. The agent also said he believed the actor died of natural causes.

The film crew became concerned yesterday when the "Kill Bill" actor didn't show up to meet them at a restaurant. A producer who went to check on the actor discovered him dead in the hotel room, Fox News reported.

The eldest son of actor John Carradine, David appeared in more than 200 films and TV shows and a handful of on- and off-Broadway productions. He was best-known for his role in the "Kung Fu" television series during the '70s.

His recent foray back onto the silver screen was his roll in Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill: Vol.1" and "Kill Bill: Vol. 2."

Carradine lived in Los Angeles with his wife and her four children.

Fuck, that sucks. David Carradine was 100% badass and rivaled Rock's manliness. At least I heard he went out on his own terms.

Damn thread title. I thought Christopher Lambert had died. I thought, "Carradine and Lambert in the same week? Shit!"

my mistake. They looked alike so I mistook him for lambert who DID play raiden in the MK movie. but still sucks to see Carradine dead.

Makes you wonder what kind of shit was going through his mind for him to do that. Seems unexpected, but all suicides tend to.

Soo... this means no Kill Bill Volume 3 ? :p But seriously, this really was unexpected. He'll be missed. :(

I thought the same thing, grats for giving me a heart attack man.

Yeah I heard about Carradine just a little while before I saw this. I grew up watching kungfu reruns and the syndicated 90's show. I was a fan from boyhood and pleased as punch when he produced such a good turn in Kill Bill and returned to the A list. I was also delighted to see him teaching tai chi on pbs because it was just crazy. I liked rooting for him. And now he's dead. That's disappointing, all the more so if he committed suicide. I just can't see why he'd commit suicide now.

Was the script to "Stretch" that bad?

'Kill Bill's David Carradine may have been murdered by a secret society of kung fu assassins, claims his family
i dont really care, so this is as much as i read. but didnt they say he 'accidently hung himself'? hmmm yeah ok. deffinatly kunfu assassins id say

He met the same fate as that guy from INXS. Autoerotic asphyxiation. Case closed.

Although, i think i saw him in a commercial for Fox's show... Mental? Kinda weird.

I found out today that he died in the same hotel I was staying at when I was in BKK.

It sucks that he's dead, but that's the risk you run with autoerotic asphyxiation.
