yeah theres not a whole lot you can do for a broken toe. Even doctors will tell you that. Just do what JDub said. Cause thats basically what they are gonna do, except charge you a godly obscene amount of money
I once had some monstrous diareahha for five days. Doctor sees me for 5 minutes after a six hour wait. Tells me "drink plenty of fluids". ( which I had been doing) total charge for the use of doc and facilities: 1200 dollars. Seriously? Fuck anyone who wants to defend our medical system. Doctors and/or hospitals are usually straight up crooks.

It's not fee-for-service, the insurance companies are the ones setting the prices. Doctors tend to hate the bureaucracy just as much as the patients do.
LOL! These are the same doctors that do a half-ass a job to make tea-off ata golf tournament but want to outlaw malpractice suits right?

Because I didn't have insurance (and still don't) and am billed directly, the bill is itemized. 644 dollars of that fee was going to the doctor directly. While I am certain there are good souls to be found in the medical professions I failed to see his objection anywhere on my statement.
