Hola 8WR community! I hail from Louisiana (USA) and I'm pretty much new the SC series (if you don't count my brother and I messing around with SC2 for fun, back in the day). However, I'm only relatively new to the fighting game community at large. I'm primarily a Street Fighter player (with Super Turbo being my main game), and event hough I gave 3D games a shot with Tekken 6, I got bored with seeing all the Bob on Bob action and gave up for a bit. That being said, I think I might be in love with Soul Calibur now! :)

The only thing I'm struggling with now is finding the right character for me. I play brawlers/power characters and grapplers most of the time, but I like almost all of the heavy hitters I see as of now. I'm sticking with Nightmare for now, but yet I'm still also drawn to the likes of Hilde, Cervantes, and Raphael (as I'm a fencing instructor, part time). I like too much of the casttt! Helppp! haha

Anyhow, nice to meet you guys! Hopefully I can become a very active member of the community here.

I'm glad you like many of the cast members.
Nightmare has a very strong rushdown game.
I'm quite scared to fight good nightmare players...

Make sure you check out the soul arena for these characters and start contributing to their development.

So nightmare is Rushdown eh? Good to know. It's very interesting trying to figure out play styles since this is my first 3d game. Thanks for the info. Hopefully nightmare won't be bottom tier and will stand a chance in competition hah
