Mo-Tempest is credible. I know he enjoys playing. He is a part of the community. When someone like him posts about his reasons for not playing the game now or anything relative to the matter, it should be heard. No matter if it's positive or negative. Not dealing with the negative will only make it worse in the long run. Not everyone is going to be happy, that much is known. You can't deal with every issue as some are just not very practical, and are just venting. Mo-Tempest is showing why he thinks the community fell apart early on, and it should be understood. Wether it's right or wrong in your views.
If you want to avoid something like this happening again, then deal with each individual concern, opinion, ect... as such. An individual. Since nobody at Namco is listening, someone in a power position here must. Most decide to make jokes in light of the matter rather than dealing with it head on. That's their choice and there is nothing wrong with it. It doesn't set a very good example for growth, and if nobody is there to actually pay attention to such a concern then what's the point of coming to the website? It's a website for the competitive community. That's who the forces in power should be listening to. If you want your casual complaining about people playing cheap then take it to gamefaqs. Make your demographic feel important. My opinion.
