SC V Get Star Wars out and bring in...

well Master C. will NEVER COME TO SoulCalibur because of the whole GUNS thing.
nothing from that Final fantasy series will come over because there to popular on there own.
Ryu will NEVER come over unless there is a SC Vs SF game.
Larry would be a one hit Knock Out

Namcos not gonna bring in charterers unless they have some signature fighting style. The reason i said to bring in people from KHII was because its unique and they wouldn't have to make up moves for them. these aren't my Number 1 choice for bringing in Guests BUT when you eliminate all the unrealistic stuff balance and copyright wise there isn't much left.

Rekano had a good idea with those picks, i'd like to see Ruby and Dante.
If the amour king came to SCV he would Destroy every thing, he would be my new main.

Kingdom Hearts has a large fan base as well.

Bill Swerski's superfans. Ditka will be an unlockable boss with infinite health and a full screen hurricane attack. Your only chance to win is to turtle and wait for him to trade his entire draft for Ricky Williams.

But yeah it'll probably be something gay. And possibly something that they don't have to pay for, considering that they didn't pay for out of house guests in SC3. My best guess would be something from whatever game Namco wants to advertise at the time. If we were to see a SC6, they would pay for third party guest characters again "to expand the Soul Calibur fanbase."

Ryu Hayabusa. He can take time off of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive for this one.

Or maybe Goku from DBZ. He could take twenty minutes screaming at you and then unleash an energy wave of doom on the poor sap.

Rayne, from Bloodrayne.
Armblades that move different than Talim's tonfas, bladed stilettos, and a "Scorpion chain".
As well as health-syphoning attack throws (She IS a vampire, kinda...)

Wolverine
With a sword and claw combo.
(Not likely at ALL, but fun to imagine...)

Dante and Bayonetta. For Both.
DUH!!! lol.
If someone needs to be from X-Box, then Dominic Santiago can join.
(Only cause he has a sexy name.)

I want to see Namco proud of their own product again, so please stop commercializing the game with guests. Advertisements in general need to stay away. I think it's evil!

On second thought, just add a couple new original fighters. There are tons of weapons that aren't firearms out there. Figure out some styles and don't add bullcrap guest fighters.

They honestly just need to stop with all the guest characters that have nothing to do with Soul Calibur. I like what SC3 did having only original new characters.

That being said, i do have one wish which is that from here out, they keep the movelists from guests available in future games as CAS or something. For example, i'm getting somewhat attached to the Aprentice knowing damn well that his future is non-existent. This sucks, but they could easily replace the lightsabers with regular swords(including sound effects), and the problem would be solved. Then they wouldn't have to worry about licensing issues with Lucas Arts, or scrap the work already done and keep fans happy that enjoyed playing Starwars characters(for the most part). Not holding my breath on this one obviously though, it'll be too much of a nice gesture from them.

One thing i've noticed about guest characters is that they have to fullfill specific criteria in order to be considered.
A. It has to be currently popular, arguably moreso than SC. They want the guest characters to help SC's game sales, not so much the other way around.
B. It has to wield a weapon of some sort to fit the theme of a weapon-style fighting game. They made an exception with Heihachi probably because he was an easy choice with most of the work already done.
C. They have to be able to make a decent move list out of the character that makes sense. Which means a large amount of close range attacks, with maybe a few long range attacks.

From my observation, this appears to be what they look for in possible guest characters.

Characters from Samurai Showdown! It would never happen, but it would be nice to see...

Dynasty Warriors fits all of the criteria above and make no mistake, the warriors series is immensely popular in Japan so there won't be a problem with popularity, weapons, or movelists. So yeah, anyone up for some Dynasty Calibur? ^_^

The problem with that is Tecmo/Koei owns that franchise and they already have Dead or Alive (DOA) to play with. You probably would see Dynasty Warriors in that game before you ever see it in Soul Calibur. Ever since the two companies merged, now you're seeing IP crossovers as seen in Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma. Dynasty Warrior content was in that game. But then again, who knows... frankly I like to see Soul series improve gameplay elements and new fighting styles/weapons than guest characters. Also maybe come up with a new storyline rather than rehashing the same story about poking Soul Edge in the eye for like nth time, breaking Soul Calibur or seeing yet another battle between Siegfried and Nightmare. Then again, the moniker for the game is "... a tale of souls and swords, eternally retold, and told, and told, and told......"

But i would like to see Aya and Saki from oneechanbara!
we don`t have a female katana (Samurai)style(nooo dont come up with shura please..she is a cerv clone and nope no setsuka plz her sword is to short) anyway...what i mean is a real long katana and both have their uniqe style .
Or a original Oni style like Kamikirikusi and not again a clone...the idea was nice but to bad that namco didn`t gave her own style!(lazy bunch)I like her anyway.

Someone mentioned her some characters from the tales universe, that would be real.In the end the games are from namco so why not? =)
We need a magician/Sage in this game lol ^^

and told, and told, and told.

They should do this thing with Tekken where they swap a character or two. There's the problem with the weapons, but Heihachi was in SCII so eh.

*Cough*

Do I even need to say anything here?

Tis but a futile dream unfortunately.
