SCV Characters and Animal motifs

I'm sure some of you have noticed this before, but the other day I realized that a lot of characters' costumes have some animalistic characteristics or are covered in animal motifs. So far, I've noticed the following characters have some animal inspired costumes. Feel free to add any that I missed.

Voldo - spider
Xiba - monkey, tiger
ZWEI - wolf
Viola - moth
Raphael - bat
Algol - eagle (this was more apparent in his SCIV outfit), cobra
Dampierre - frog
Hilde - wolf, gryphon
Kilik - phoenix
Patroklos - persian lynx
Tira - birds (ravens/crows in particular, it seems)
Natsu - birds (falcon)
Ivy - snake
Siegfried - gryphon
Nightmare - bat
Pyrrah - sensitive plant
Maxi - dragons
 
Dampierre has an animal motif? Wait, what? I only ever noticed a few non-amphibian skulls on his costume. He looks more like an escaped prisoner(the outdated cliche black and white stripes) that broke into a pawn shop than a guy based on a frog to me.

Hilde definitely had a wolf motif going on last game...And now the new symbol of her nation(frickin' Wolfkrone) is a gryphon.
 
I haven't had a lot of experience with Dampierre, so I can't say much for him, but Natsu's armor has some feather-like details to it, as well as also having a feathered broach in her hair. Siegfried's main costume has a bird motif also, possibly an eagle of some sort. Leixia's 2P has some butterfly elements to it also, with little emblems on her feet and neck. Her sash also reminds me of dragonfly wings, but that might just be me.
 
From what I've noticed playing and from the posts above:

Tira - birds: Her 2P outfit is adorned with feathers and her 1P has numerous raven skulls.

Natsu - birds: Her 1P has a few feather adornments & her gauntlets have falcon heads engraved in them.

Hilde & Siegfried - Both of them have a griffin motif on their armor, most likely to represent Schwarzwind. (did I spell that correctly?)

Ivy - snakes: Her 2P outfit features them coiling around her legs, as well as her having a choker necklace in the form of one.

Leixia - butterflies: Though her primary motif is flowers (particularly the lotus), her 1P has butterfly adornments hanging from her belt. (possible Bayonetta reference from Mari Shimazaki?)

Patroklos - lynx: The scarf on his 1P is of one, and his armor on his 2P features them prominently.

Viola - moth or butterfly: The designs on her 1P outfit's stockings feature them prominently. (This could also be another hint that Viola's true identity is Amy, as Amy's nickname was "the fluttering butterfly of the night.")

Raphael - bats: They are featured prominently on both of his outfits, in particular on his 2P where a bat effectively forms the neckline.

Z.W.E.I. - wolves: His 1P outfit has an overall ruffian wolf-like appearance to it, while his 2P outfit has an appearance more like that of a wolve's skeleton.

Kilik - birds: In particular, the phoenix, as his armor is stylized after one.

Xiba - tigers and monkeys: While he has a tiger fur wrapped around his waist, his fighting style is more like that of a monkey, (most likely due to the Journey to the West theme surrounding him).

Dampierre has a symbol of a frog with a mustache with a skull in its mouth on his back and his hat. Also, his weapons have pictures on them that resemble frogs, and it looks like their sticking their tongues out when the blades are out.

Also, nice finds on Leixia, Natsu, Ivy, and Tira Tgrr and Leona. I'll update the first post.
 
Flying creatures seem to be quite a recurring theme. I think one of the designers mentioned that Nightmare's armor is intended to be bat-like as well.

What about Maxi? He has the whole Dragon thing going for him and here's why: Most of his moves all involve dragon in some way or form, he's semi-modeled after Bruce Lee (whose nickname is The Dragon) and even his nunchaku, Soryuju is Japanese for "Gathering of the Revived Dragons". So yeah, Maxi=Dragon Motif.
