Im trying to promote this pretty hard its my first vid an i know its choppy but its got good dmg and other neat stuff to it!
 
Thank gawd that this lame combo can be avoided.
It's a pretty lazy attempt Nightmare players try to abuse to give them an easy win. Hopefully everyone learns to avoid this.
 
Ahh so the loop can be air teched down. Correct? well I hope the production was enjoyable lol. Can someone point me to a system briefing as far as tech options are lol!
 
U can repeat just 4 times, and u need the 2 special bars for that.
No you cannot. The most you can do it is actually once, that is if the other player does not tech roll out of it the first time.
To tech roll, with most characters you just tap a direction and guard at the same time before you hit the ground. It can be mashed as well. Everyone just make sure you tech roll down in order to avoid it. Tech rolling (or ukemi) is basically when a player instantly gets up right after he gets knocked down. If a direction is pressed, a player will automatically move in that direction while getting up. Thus if Nightmare tries to do the dumb loop, the other player will simply get up and avoid it and Nightmare would look like a complete retard.

Besides this is too lame to even be called a combo. It doesn't even require the slightest bit of work in order to do. Thank god everyone can avoid it. I can't wait to just completely pwn some Nightmare player who tries the trick.

Well this is true u can ukemi this but it must be to one of the sides. I think this demonstrates the lack of knowledge of these "combo escape techs" not only me but other players as well. I mean after all it is strange for a a game to continue a combo counter if a combo can be escaped unless something indicates its escapability (Blazblue for example). Maybe I should make a soul calibur tech option vid instead haha!

I would like to state as a rebuttal to this that my video is just interesting however impractical but that's ok we learn from our mistakes. Also I went ahead and edited the first post probably will edit thread title to so ppl dont get confused.

HiguraShiki just because a combo is lame or simple do does not demerit its potential to be very useful. Look at Dooms corner loop in umvc3 easy to do and leads to 100% on the majority of the cast.
