the anti sopa petition reached its goal haha! awesome! I have no idea how petitions work in USA, but hopefully that means SOPA dies again for a little while.

That means Obama must issue some kind of official response to the petition. It doesn't mean he has to agree with what the petitioners want or what he says won't just be a bunch of BS, unfortunately. But it probably does at least make it more likely that Obama will veto the rehash of SOPA if congress passes it.
