Soul Blade Opening...

Best intro ever, this is real original music!!!! My goodness when I first saw a trailer for this on the Demo 1 disc, I couldn't believe that such a game with weapons could exist, and the fact you could collect them!!!

What an intro, I loved the way they just introduced each character one after the other, I always told myself I wanted to be the guy who brushed his hair back (little did I know at the time he was siegfried).

Mitsurugi, a simple farmer cutting through men, Taki removing her mask to reveal her sexy graphical face that I wanted to marry.

I wanted a PSN download of this game just to celebrate the release of soulcalibur 5, looks like my wish hasn't been fulfilled yet...but I will remain vigilant, I want to play soulblade again, watching it is not enough....

I cannot get enough of this intro!!! It brings so much memories and fills me with joy.

Sadly, I never found out about this series until SCII and I have yet to play this game and the first Soul Calibur. And yet it probably has the best intro in the entire series. The music alone makes it the best and what's even better is that I have the full song on my Ipod.

I swear that one of these days I will get this game and play it till my controllers die.
 
I think 2 and 3 were actually better, but the soul blade intro was phenomenal for it's time. Most other video games just went right to the press start screen, or at best had some stupid attract mode storyboards.

Soul Calibur had custom openings, but I think you may be referring to the three soundtracks.

Now that I agree with. A more Super Khan-esque soundtrack could be interesting as well.

Okay, let me stop my Soul Blade fetishism. lol
 
I just watched the video (even though I've seen it a hundred times probably). I really miss how unique and interesting every one of the characters were in that game. Maybe it's just because it was a new game and everything was new and exciting and the story was fresh, but I don't feel the characters (and especially the new characters) still have the same charisma as they did back then.

That's why I'd personally love to see a reboot.
 
I loved the opening for Soul Blade. I think it is one of the best of the series, plus, the Soundtrack is on of th best in the series in my opinion as well. Also, love the avatar. Hwang! =D

I am in the process of trying to record some of my game play. I need to figure out how to do that. Me and my friend have killer matches with some neat moves, and I wanted to share. Cervantes VS Lexia me being Lexia.
 
If you're on PS3 it's as simple as saving your replay to a USB stick. If you're on Xbox you're out of luck unless you have a capture card.
 
I see. I actually have it on both. I was lucky enough to aquire it as a gift from my friend on PS3. =P I'll see if I can figure out the rest.

Sorry to go off topic, but to get back on subject, I think it would be cool if they made Soul Blade 2, and just made all the characters over from scratch. Really focus on different fighting styles from around the world.
 
That would be very cool. I'd love to see a Soul Blade 2 with a diverse range of fighting styles from around the world. :)
