Street Fighter IV d-pad controllers for 360

Anyone hear anything 'bout the STIV d-pad controllers that they're coming out with? I'm quite tempted to get one...I'm totally inept at Street Fighter if I can't play with a pad...but I don't want to waste $40 on a pad that sucks as much as the default 360's pad.

Thoughts?
 
There's reviews out there for the pad. From what I've read I wasn't too impressed as it's just pretty much a $40 gamepad. Don't expect too much from it. I also know that the 360 pad is wired and the PS3 pad is wireless.

I think it is an okay buy since the regular 360 pad is so bad for fighting games, so unless you have $40 to burn, I would just wait for someone else to buy one and then check their's out to see if the pad is worth buying.
 
It's based off the Sega Saturn pad (Which according to many sources) is the best pad for playing fighting games on. So it has that going for it.

40 seems like a decent price. I wouldn't mind 30 though.
 
It's a six face button controller right? I hope so, and i'll be getting it for sure if thats the case. I'm not going to be able to handle a StreetFighter game with this shoulder button bullshit.
 
Unrelated, but initial production run of only 3k units for the premium stick, wow. I didn't know the actual number, no wonder they're so hard to come by. Seems like they easily could have sold 10k right off the jump.
 
Game Crazy dosn't take the Trade in's for the SFIV pad yet..must still be in high demand, if I wait any longer, the price will go up
