What's known so far is:
* The new girl's name seems to be Weiss, based on the German theme of the game
* Her companion is named Godfried
* Weiss is the new heroine as she's replacing Heart in the storyline (but they are all returning, Everyone from S!AH2 should be in AH3 also. Virtually everyone in the west missed out on AH2 since it wasn't localized due to its problems with PS2 and the porting quality. Maybe Examu won't make that mistake again.)
* She belongs to a organization called Drexler Institute.
* Arcanas are being replaced by something called Geist (however some speculate Arcanas will still be around, but the new characters will be using Geists, and anyone might be able to use both Arcanas and Geists.)
* The super gauge goes up to 3 now
