(naah, on a serious note, i´m thinking of switching main, just to be more competitive.
Yoshimitsu is good, but you have to work so much more with him, and his tools aren´t as powerful as say, Kilik´s.)

On the other hand Yoshi's tracking IS pretty crappy. (IMHO)

If you want to force people to react to you, Voldo is nice and also a very good tier, has the same wtf value as Yoshi except I think his stances are quite a bit more useful against real competition so you can actually act crazier. Also, lobo, curious why you said Amy gets boosted online. Maybe if you use 2A+B, although that movie is sooooo slow I think its blockable on reaction even on a good online connection. 2B+K isn't blockable on reaction anyway, and needs to be used at point blank range. Whereas all the characters with 1A's like Cass, Mits, etc can use their low from a distance when offline its blockable (and usually punishable) on reaction. I played a lot of Amy for a good while and always felt like lag was hurting me vs longer ranged characters, not helping me.

Being a Yoshi player too, and having some experiencie with Amy and Kilik... Amy is the more suitable char for you I think, since you would not lose speed and punishment even if it´s not as hard as Yoshi punishment.
Amy is a beast, I picked her up since everyone in Mexico was expecting me to use Yoshi in a major tournament, but I went with Amy and won easily.
Even tough, Amy is boring as hell.
But you will be back to Yoshi once you prove your point, you will miss the fun of this great char.
