Tekken and Soul Calibur Similarities :O

I dont see Pyrrha and Lili at all, just because they are both blonde. It's like me saying Zasalamel and Obama are the same because they are both black. XD Based on clothing and background, I think its Lili and Amy. Both girls wear Lolita style dresses and boots, and live rich, secluded lives with a father.''

That does make sense. O.O

Oh I thought of another one. xD
-Yun-Seong & Hwoarang (Both red hair, well, Yun-Seong has like orangish hair but still. Both specialize in kicks, and almost have the same personality. lol)

No ones mentioned it, but what about Kilik (SCIV) and Jin? Both want to rid some sort of tragedy within them (for Jin, the Devil Gene and for Kilik, the malfestation) And both are fairly blunt haha.

I agree with Mina and Julia, and Xianghua and Xiaoyu. I dont see Pyrrha and Lili at all, just because they are both blonde. It's like me saying Zasalamel and Obama are the same because they are both black. XD Based on clothing and background, I think its Lili and Amy. Both girls wear Lolita style dresses and boots, and live rich, secluded lives with a father.

I dont think its Xiba and Leo either, its Leo and Hilde. Both girls dress in a tomboyish manner and are German.

.... I best stop talking before I over analyse this. XD Sorry to be a bother! ^-^''

No not at all, I think your right...I did this post at 4 am ...I dont know what I was thinking x) I just saw some facial similarities and jut them together. Leo's a girl? O_O; I always thought he/she looked like Ellen ._.;

Here some of my picks as to which Soul Calibur characters are similar to their Tekken counterparts

Xianghua/Xiaoyu- Both were 16 when they made their debut, both fall over the main protagonist who has some sort of burden within them, some find them annoying

Kilik or Siegfried/Jin- Protagonists for their respective games, have some sort of burden from within them that makes them too detached from being normal, turns slightly evil but still good somehow

Yun-Seong/Hwoarang- Red hair, cocky attitude, loves to utilize kicks, always wanting to fight/prove themselves

Raphael/Lee- Flamboyant...I'll just leave it at that

Zasalamel/Raven- Mysterious, Stoic, Deadly (from appearance alone),...Black

Seong Mi-Na/Julia- Heart and Soul type, always wanting prove themselves, Nature lovers

Ivy/Nina- Love to wear purple, Deadly, Smart, Seductive

Cassandra/Lili- Blonde, spunky, somewhat cocky

Talim/Christie- Free Spirited, Fun Loving

Rock/King- Big guys wearing animal masks, grapplers, don't talk much

Astaroth/Marduk- Big guys that will grapple you, slightly meancing (Marduk)/very menacing (Astaroth)

Voldo/Bryan Fury- FREAKS

Maxi/Law or Feng Wei- Bruce Lee like tactics (Maxi/Law), Malicious Intent (Maxi/Feng Wei)

Setsuka/Asuka- Both want revenge/justice for their masters

Mitsurugi/Kazuya- Both seek to be the strongest

Well, those are all the ones I have so far.

I agree with most of these! I always thought that Siegfried resembles Lars Alexandersson, both physically and the fact they are German/ (or in Lars' case, Swedish.)

I'm more for Kilik/Jin mainly due to the fact that Xiaoyu/Xianghua are clingy to them and the guys don't even notice. XD

Yun-Seong/Hwoarang- Red hair, cocky attitude, loves to utilize kicks, always wanting to fight/prove themselves

Rock/King- Big guys wearing animal masks, grapplers, don't talk much

The only two in that entire list that aren't generic stereotypes you'll find in almost any story. With all due respect of course ShaolinTiger. (I nearly wrote Shaolin Tigger. Now there's a guest character we NEED).

has no one mentioned how SCV and Tekken 3 had 17 year and 15 year timeskips respectively? How Both of those stories deal with a brand new protagonist whose style is derivative of a character they replaced (Patroklos/Jin)? and how both of the main characters are on a quest to understand a curse or burden placed upon his family (soul calibur/devil gene)? and how both main characters struggle with the sudden disappearance of their mother (Sophitia/Jun)? It's the same story! I feel like I'm uncovering some namco conspiracy bullshit nonsense!

Damn, now that you mention it, I feel as if Project Soul took a page out of Tekken's playbook and even have the same concepts. It's like Namco knew they wanted to make the same game but with different themes and styles. I think Namco should just go ahead and announce that we were playing the same game all along just with a different story. Better yet, why not make a crossover game.
