Everytime a RROD comes along, Im already at the point where I have several hundred dollars invested in games, controlles, arcade sticks, headsets etc etc etc.

Ive been wanting to get a ps3 for ever but it seems like such and IMCF to the nuts to buy a PS3 and re-invest in all that shit all over again.

Plus the analog stick is in the WRONG place on a ps3 controller. I play SC with the analog stick (keep your snickering to a minimum please) and Im old and dont like change!!

Synraii have you tried the towel trick to fix it? Sounds crazy but it worked for me last time mine RROD. What you do is power on the xbox then wrap it completely in towels so it can't breathe. Let it set like that while powered on for bout 30 mins. Turn it off let it set for bout 30 more mins to cool. Unwrap it and power it up. Like i said i actually did this and it DID WORK. I've heard it doesn't always work but worth a try. Once i got mine working took it straight to Gamestop and traded it in lol. Goodluck

There’s no basis for this. It’s impossible to tell how a first-time tournament player will handle the environment. Plus with the banned character there’s too much going against him to say he should be recognized at the top just because. While I agree the skill level appears impressive, he’s pretty much a scrub since he can’t apply his strategic outlook in anyone else.

Crumpets are nice with jam. Tea does indeed suck. FOOTBALL is recognised WORLDWIDE and rugby is more widely played then 'american football' why? I play my PS3 religiously almost every day.
My XBOX is a make shift shelf for all my PS3 games.
That is all I have to say on this matter.

sad thing is most people who say im not shit without algol Ive beat offline WITHOUT ALGOL
Cedric was right its not worth supporting a community that enjoys shooting itself in the foot or doesn't care that its the laughing stock of the FG community.

In SC5 I was seriously considering running the scene from xanadu since the person who ran events here for this game hates SC4 and plays tekken but I don't think its worth it.

When it comes to good players who are against other good players in favor of a ban, there’s only one thing that bothers me. And that’s how they usually say, “You don’t know shit about the character. If you did you wouldn’t be complaining.” Yes, they are correct in implying that said character can be beaten. But then again, WTF is the point if less than half the cast can do this? Telling somebody to change their character in order to win is fine if you actually have a selection to work with. But in this case, we don’t. And if you say we do have plenty of options to work with, then in my opinion you’re being too stubborn to hear the other person out. In summary, if less than half of the game’s characters/options available to you can beat the thing in question, ban that shit. Also, the game’s image is actually more of a laughing stock to people abroad if everything is allowed when the game is trashy to begin with. Look at SC3’s history. Not banning anything caused most people to complain. And in SC4, you, Ceirnian, OOF, Chaos, and tons more complain because we did ban things. But again, IMO, that could be stubbornness regarding different points of view as stated earlier.

you hate ivy,kilik, and amy for the same reason you hate algol which is lopsided match ups
most people really do just want him banned for ignorant hypocritical hatred
the reason why the bans bother me is they ignore bigger issues then algol
when algol was banned I picked up maxi who has an 8:2 with kilik and ivy
but people ignore this and always site the algol/talim match up
and no mizuumi and srk constantly makes fun of this community for being ban happy

That's fair enough. But I'd only take issue with it if their top players were calling me out because then that'd be too arrogant of them. Everyone else isn't worth mentioning in this case.
