Ukemi-ing question

I've been playing SCV for a while now, sience it came out, but I have not yet understood the good about doing an ukemi. I've been doing fairly good withouth it, but maybe I could improve even more with it. I know what it is but I feel like I need more information about it's good and bads, when to use it and what not. Also how to do it xD

If there's already been a post like this, please re-direct me, I couldn't find it by searching.

The choice is yours to make. Try out ukemi for a while, see how it works for you. You might resign yourself to just using ukemi in certain situations.

Not using ukemi when you're expected to can throw players off, and could be part of your natural style. Take everything with a grain of salt and make your own decisions.
