Morality as it is in today's society can be viewed as something that holds people back from achieving what they can. The ideals Friedrich promoted were to get people to think outside of this box. Is genocide cool? No. But are the morals imposed by the religious beliefs of others cool? So much of what art is and has been, is pushing boundaries.
The Chinese thought it was wrong for Bruce Lee to teach Kung Fu to white people. They even came to the US to challenge him. He said screw them, and it pushed him to be better. From that, came JKD.
