Unanswered Questions...

The story mode of SCV was rather...lacking, to say the least. This is one of the primary reasons I felt SCV left me feeling cheated, especially with how much story they hyped up during the pre release. I've noticed some questions were answered, but not all of them.

So here I'd like to talk about what other people think happened in the story, and perhaps answer some of the questions in their own view. Still rather disappointed in Namco for leaving this huge of a void in the game.

Who is Z.W.E.I? Why can we control E.I.N?
Did Leixia meet Kilik? If so, did she find out who he actually was?
Did Natsu ever find out what happened to Taki?
Why was Ezio even in this game if he's not related to the story at all?
Did Raphael find Amy? Was Viola Amy?
Was Pyrrha cured of her malfestation?
Who is the father of Hilde's children? If it's no one important, why was this created for a storyline if they're (and by that matter, she herself) are not even present?
Why did Xiba have to inherit the Kali Yuga? Why him particularly?
What happened to Tira at the end?
Did Mitsurugi ever find Algol?
Why has Kilik not aged? Why was the Kali-Yuga dangerous to him?
What was the point of putting Cervantes, Yoshimitsu, and Algol into the game? (Storyline wise.)
How did Patroklos learn Setsuka's style? (Later answered, but not int he game.)
What happened to Seong Mina, Yun - Seong, Hwang, Cassandra, Talim, Zaslamal, Rock, and Bangoo? Did a time portal swallow them all?

I have a feeling that SC VI will be "seeking the cure". Its obviously out there somewhere since Nightmare started off as Siegfried.
 
The story mode shows Xiba with the Kali-Yuga and Natsuto with Mekki-Maru but doesn't say how they got them, Leixia just say they went through a lot.
 
I'm glad you didn't ask stupid questions like other people. xD I'm trying to find answers to these so when I do I'll be sure to answer them here!
 
My possible answers. Mind, this is just my theory

Did Leixia meet Kilik? If so, did she find out who he actually was?

Possible. Remember, Maxi, Natsu, Leixia and Xiba are together as a group. She could have encountered him and Kilik would have seen his pendant round her neck.

Did Natsu ever find out what happened to Taki?

Hard to say. But she did inherit her Mekki-Maru, a ninja sword with a fragment of SE fused in it, so she must have either met her master at one point, or got it from one of her fellow students.

Why was Ezio even in this game if he's not related to the story at all?

He tried to warn you.

Was Pyrrha cured of her malfestation?

Not fully, I reckon. In the ending (spoilers), she still has her malfested arm, despite she and Pat having destroyed both Soul Swords.

Why did Xiba have to inherit the Kali Yuga? Why him particularly?

He's Kilik's estranged son. (Fact confirmed in SC5 JP Artbook)

What happened to Tira at the end?

Probably raging in anger somewhere and plotting her revenge.

Did Mitsurugi ever find Algol?

Both of them weren't even mentioned in the story, so dunno.

Why has Kilik not aged? Why was the Kali-Yuga dangerous to him?

He has chosen the "same path" as his master, Edge Master did. EM had lived an eternity by making use of the evil infesting his body and suppressing it - so perhaps Kilik used the same method to gain eternal life. His age is listed as "unknown" in SCV.

Kali Yuga has stored the evil power of Soul Edge. Don't forget. Kilik may have learned to control its power, but SE's malice runs very deep in it, so I wouldnt be surprised if during his training to be like EM, Kilik realized that the evil stored in KY could be unleashed all at once, and could have fatal consequences for him.

How did Patroklos learn Setsuka's style? (Later answered, but not int he game.)

Its probably during Patroklos's journey to study several masters of the fighting arts that he encountered Setsuka by chance. The rest is as you see in A Pat's bio.

What happened to Nightmare (aka Graf Dumas) and ZWEI?
Well, after ZWEI apparently beats him, its probably safe to assume he knocked his corpse off the cliff edge. As for ZWEI himself, he tumbled backwards after being stabbed by Oprah, but he could have survived somehow. I cant see the possibility that PS would kill off a new character after just ONE game.
 
how hasn't Pyrrha died? She should have been dead at the end of SCIV. Sophitia's whole motivation for protecting soul edge was to protect Pyrrha. Siegfried is showen to defeat nightmare and destroy soul edge. Thus Pyrrha was suppose to die because she could not live without the influence of soul edge. Not only that, Pat and Pyrrha destroy both soul swords at the end of SCV... Pyrrha is still alive.

but soul edge wasn't destroyed in sophitia's SC4 story nor in SC5. it looked like they destroyed Soul Calibur and just kept soul edge. also did Z.W.E.I. die? like for real. it didn't seem like a death fitting for one of the main characters of the story mode.

now that i think about it i don't really remember. i breezed through story mode on the first day the game came out and haven't touched it since. i just remember Pyrrha and Pat stabbing soul calibur with soul edge. before pat broke off the tip of soul edge but i think that was the most damage soul edge took. will have to look at that ending again.
