I find when I play the game, music just puts me in the zone. Especially adrenaline-pumping tunes like THIS JAM!

 
I used to have a "shit kicking music" playlist but that was before I realized how cool the music ingame is.
However I usually have music on when I'm doing CAS.
Usually I start on the song "Chi Nine" by The Mattson 2, but it isn't on youtube for some reason and then it goes on from there, to stuff like this

When this music is playing, I can make Van Damme-like comebacks. Well, that, and it makes everything EPIC.

Oh, I do this. I get impatient waiting in lobbies so I play guitar in between my fights. If I stand still at the start of the match, it's probably because you skipped the intro scenes while I was putting the guitar back on the stand.
 
Well sometimes I'll be in a 6-man room literally because I want to play one person in the room (usually the one with the massive win streak at the top), so I've gotta do something to pass the time instead of making sarcastic remarks in the chat.

Oh, just remembered that this video might be relevant. If you want to make a match a more fun experience, play incongruous music for comic effect (and yes, it's sped up x1.5 for even more comic effect).
