No, this wasn't weapon trails, this was weapon effects, like when you would hit something, it would have a different effect, like manga/comic book would cause Japanese characters or English effects like BAM! and such. I think there was Angel/Demon? that had a light/dark effect, and there was like, blood spatter, and one was magical stars and colors. It's been a while. Weapon trails was in the color settings.
