What's the easiest way to unlock all parts?

I just rented the game for a week, and I'm really getting into it. I played SC3 before, and I liked the character creation mode the most. It was very fun to create characters from other games. The character creation mode in SC4 isn't as great, but it's still pretty good. I'm sad that they got rid of the cool unique fighting styles like knife and kunai. Still, there are a ton of options available to keep me happy.

I was wondering if there was a quick and easy way to unlock all the parts. I know that you can unlock parts in the tower of souls mode, but some of the conditions are very hard. I also heard that you will eventually unlock all parts if you get 30 achievements.

I imagine the getting achievements would be the easier route. However, I was wondering if they work in versus mode, or training mode? Some of them require that you guard X times. Can you do that in versus against another human? How about in training mode where you have infinite life? If not, then is there a place here where people will exhange gamertags and just hit each other to get achievements.

Doing the achievements is way easier.
You can't complete the achievements through training mode, and to your second question no there isn't
at least I don't think there is

Most of them will do unlock in online versus. Hero King has to be done in ranked though.

Would anybody be willing to come online and help me with those achievements then? I'll be on tomorrow, so send me a PM if you want.

Just a quick note, getting 30 achievements makes the items available for purchase, you still need to buy them with gold.

Getting them via achievements is the easiest.
Getting them via Tower of Lost Souls is insane (besides, the Tower doesn't have all the items too).

If you've a problem, you can post them here.
If a noob like me can get 34 achievements and all items, so can you! X-D

just as a side note i will say don't even try to play for real against the ai, ESPECIALLY in the tower. cheap out of that shit (astaroth 1A,B i believe is the way most do it and i think the most efficient) unless you want to pull your hair out of your head strand by strand

You're kidding, right? Because real players play honorably against the AI and the Tower will greatly test and help you improve your skills.

I'm still stuck at lvl 36 but I'm working hard!

AI falls for easy stuff that real players kill you for and it can cause you to get bad habits. It's better than nothing I suppose but...eh.

Honestly I'm not that concerned with mastering the game or anything. I was just attracted to it because of the create a character mode, so I can make characters from other games to fool around with. I usually get bored with games before I end up getting really good at them anyway.

i actually thought like that when i first got the game. :(

My current record to unlocking all gear in the fastest, easiest time is 2 nights, through achievements (purchasing is still another issue altogether). After shooting for the easier achievements, I do a Tower speed run.

My personal favorite trick is tag-team Yun-Seong CF party. Default Yun-Seong has Charge Cancel by default, so do the following:

Begin Match - 6BB~A+B+K, 6BB~SWT, 6BB~A+B+K, 6BB~SWT, 6BB~SWT, repeat until CF

Sadly this isn't going to get you through the whole tower, as there are floors that you have to do with only one person. After you've CF danced for a while, you should have unlocked the item Life Gem: Sun. Once you have it, take Astaroth into Character Creation, select the top slot and select either "Astaroth (1P)" or "Astaroth (2P)", your choice doesn't really matter. Once you pick that, go to the customize slot all the way on the bottom, which should be the only one you should be able to select; in that slot, place the Life Gem: Sun. Equip Astaroth with a weapon that gives him either the highest +HP or highest +ATK, depending on your preference.

You're going to use this Astaroth on solo floors, most notably "King of the Physical Realm", among a few others (I've had little luck using this Astaroth to beat Solitary Princess, but you might have more luck than me). This will be your strategy:

22_88B4, 28B+G

If you want to, you can take this very same Astaroth and make two copies of him. You'll need 3 of these Astaroths to beat Algol on the last floor, to get that Achievement.

i actually thought like that when i first got the game. :(
I don't blame you, though. Because it seems that the floors after Floor 35 are HARD AS HELL.

Like one floor where you're given like 80 seconds to defeat 3 strong opponents who can GI, auto-grapple and keep blocking all the time.

In the end, I've no choice but to ring out them by luck.

And after that floor, I had to fight enemies who spam GI, auto-grapple, spam block and has Nullify Ring Out A.

Also, there's this floor where I fight Yoshi and Taki-style opponents, and both of them GI every single move I did. In the end, I had no choice but to spam Unblockable attacks, which they ate obediently (for the Taki-style girl, though, I had to ring out her as she evades my Unblockables as well).

Of course, in real fights, real players won't be as silly as that.

The only thing tougher than the Tower of Lost Souls in the game is Edge Master in training mode. CPU Edge Master is like fighting against an SC4 Elite player.
Or maybe equivalent to an SC4 Legend.

ughhh i cannot believe how much time i wasted trying to be fair on that tower. its hard but its hard in the way that it would never happen against a real person, so its just frustrating. i remember the gi floor you're talking about, and i actually think it was after that floor that i started to cheap out because it was so ridiculous. i think i got a lucky ring out as well. i figure if the ai is bullshit i'm going to be bullshit too.

the tower also made me play into that special vs. nonsense and i didn't play standard until at least 2 months into the game because of it... yeah. my sc4 past is not that redeeming, lol.

LOL, true.....they should have put some thought into designing the Tower instead of cheaping it out.

Floors 1 - 32 is still enjoyable, but the rest after that, the higher they go, the cheaper it seems to become.

Which is why I'm now going to play against real people so that I can practice in a realistic manner. :D

For the guard impact floor(Taki + Yoshimitsu) they are not actaully using a normal guard impact, they're using a special ability that depletes the Soul Gauge a noticeable amount. It's possible to get them flashing red just by letting the mGuard Impact you. at that point a couple of GI's back and you've got a CF.

So, it's some sort of skill which 100% auto-impact all the time but depletes their soul gauges as well?
