Soulcalibur does not really have the manliest characters, but out of them alone, certainly Rock with a close second to ZWEI.

And none of it matters because he is a child, and acts as such. He isn't a man by definition or behavior. Previous iterations of Astaroth didn't even have their own motives, being a servant of a servant, and killed by some idiot playing around with nunchacku.
Also while he appears male, I doubt he actually is.

I can't believe no one mention Heishiro Mitsurugi! This dude is the epitome of badass. He takes on a whole army by himself, tells you that not even the king of hell couldn't stand against his blade, takes a bullet to the shouldera nd still keeps going, and he fought Algol.
