First and foremost I'm not talking about those of you who upload quality gameplay that shows the "hardcore" side of any Soul Calibur game, no not you, I'm talking about the people who try to gain some kind of popularity by posting the CaS of famous icons. I understand most people look at this as a way to market Soul Calibur, but all I see it doing is making the game seem like a childish Barbie dress em' up game when it's not. All over Youtube all I see is "Ronald McDonald vs KFC Guy" "Joker vs. Batman" and other very stupid things, this is probably why people don't see Soul Calibur as a hardcore fighting game!
Some of you may remember "Barack Obama vs. John McCain" stuff like this makes the games audience seemed watered down to a bunch of people buying the game to make some fantasy hero instead of buying the game to actually learn how to play, but why not they have Street Fighter or some other stupid 2d fighter game when they want to get serious. Long story short, I hate CaS when it's being used as a marketing gimmick.
