I think SA finally has what it needs as far as matchups/practice needs. We have a player who has mastered a char, or working on one to help out everybody:

Me: Cervantes/Kilik/Cass
SA_Rob: Taki/Ivy/Kilik
CW: Amy/Asta/Voldo
Whodat: Hilde/Algol/X/Amy/
kPC: Sieg/Cervantes
Agustin: Amy/Yoshi/Mitsu/Asta
Nacho: Yun/Cervantes/Mitsu/Nightmare
Jody: Raph/Setsuka


Am I missing any other chars guys? We need a Voldo also. Closest we have is CNP in Austin, but I'd like to have one in SA. I think if we can manage to get together once a week, we can finally master the matchups and start running shop in this game like I know we should.

CW, I'm on the phone w/Agustin now. We both remember your Voldo being pretty good. Please play him as well Asta, or instead of Asta:)
 
Sounds good Nori. I actually play quite a few characters and I am picking up going to pick up Voldo. All of SA is going to level up.

rOb: assuming that that may happen, can we know soon so we can prep for it, gives me an excuse to go to 2 TX tournaments in November, since Houston is having one in november and october, and Dallas is having one in December.

Nori: stop complimenting me...because that doesn't happen....i'm not good. I'm trash
 
CW: Nothing is written in stone. I'm the only one that talks to ABK that throws the tourney's. The reason we want to talk to him is cause he has the joint at funplex on lock. So no need for searching for a venue. Nobody has talked to him about this. I personally don't like the idea but still nothing is written in stone.

Since you are so far from me, I only asked you come to my house since I used to go to yours all the time and we would switch up. Gas isn't free sir:D

And I'm VERY happy Jody is picking up Setsuka. She's awesome, and nobody has her covered.
 
What do you guys think about having a Madden 10 tourney at the next Mashfest? I hear Ice is gonna pick up a copy, so I figure some of the Dallas guys might be interested.

Congrats on making it up to top 10 on the ranking ladder here on 8way. There is alot of people on that ladder and that is a feat on it's own. WTG.

That's definitely a good idea. Madden will draw a HUGE crowd. But Madden tournaments have to be run VERY strict or they will take all day.

Yes have to be very stricted, need at three set ups alone maybe even 4. Three minute quarters and such like that
 
So this disc is in front of me... So what now, i just use Hilde?

Agustin - If were gonna throw down, were gonna need a set schedule so i can plan ahead. School starts for me on the 24th along with everyone else.

all jokes aside, just pick up people we don't have on the list yet. And yes, we need to have a set schedule, my apt wasn't as big otherwise, i'd be holding gatherings @ my place since i have 2 tv's and such.
