oof!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo

Wow Oof losing to another Talim? That's crazy. So much for me predicting him to win one of these things, let's see how the brothers Hilde do in top 8 now.

FUCK THE STREAM. JESUS CHRIST I WANT TO SEE KURA PLAY TALIM AND THEY SHOW FUCKING DR ON IT GAAAAAH.

(Yes. I'm a little bitter. For the record, it's fucking 7 am and I haven't slept yet.)

I remember back almost a year ago when the Nats organizers, me included, were deciding on the Algol ban. After going to EVO and seeing how Hilde depends on 1 move, and has guaranteed ROs off of that move in almost every stage, I cant believe nobody considered or mentioned banning Hilde, or perhaps allowing stage select with her, or banning a few stages...

It feels like 9 out of 10 rounds that Hilde wins, its via RO. Look at what happened to the Hilde's when a stage with walls came up in EVO. No chance... KDZ did awesome, but he got lucky the way the stages turned out for him. Others, like Omega, had fucking Star Wars as the first stage, then another tiny ass stage in 2nd match...

I was looking into playing SC4 competitively, but after seeing all the Hilde BS, I'll pass on SC4 and wait for Tekken 6...

Kasht

Ceirn got taken to the cathedral as Hilde vs a Cervy...AND WON.

RTD's Hilde got counter-picked with Astaroth and was taken to the other Star Wars stage with one edge and three walls...and WON. WITH NO RING OUTS.

Screw the haters. These awesome players deserve each and every win they get with Hilde, even the easier (read: raft) ones, because they showed that they will RULE you when the odds are against them. And other players showed that they CAN go toe to toe with Hilde. RTD's OUT. KDZ backed up with Hilde AND LOST. Ceirnian almost lost to JimmyPikachuChoi, a Wisconsin player whose Hilde experience mostly consists of a very scrubby player by the name of Hogosha...oh wait, that's me. ;P Hilde isn't unbeatable, and people CAN deal with her bullshit. Similarly, good Hildes look at walled stages and say "shit is gonna get REAL".

Also, Thuggish Pond for president.

That was my though the first time I faced an Hilde player, which was very good btw. I was doing well and then one unnecessary crouch and lost the round. No matter how far you are from the edge, one mistake and that's it. I complained after a few matches saying that it was a big advantage. Then they said that I was whining so I decided to shut up and take all those RO. I know it's not easy to play holding a button all the time but once you mastered the skill then it'll comes out easy. Just as the CS and SS of Ivy, they are hard to do but ask an advanced Ivy player now and they'll tell you that it's not that hard. It'll take almost half of the lifebar but at least not the whole round.

OMFGWTFBBQ!!!!!! That final had me needing a change of drawers from a massive hypegasm.

Good shit Thuggish.

My congratz to the champ Thugish.
But remember, winning a tournament needs skills and also luck. I know that Thug beat Omega in EVO but that was only 2 fights. I'd like to see Thug and Omega in a money match in a 10 wins match and see what happens. Omega had dominated the dominican league for over 8 years and you can count with the fingers of your hand how many times he had lost a match. So, I'd would be nice to see a larger match to see actually who is the Best.

At the end of the day, Thuggish won. He trained, he fought, he beat Hildes and Kiliks, fought the counter-picks, and he double-dipped the player who knocked him down to losers. THERE'S your larger match.

In Thuggish We Trust.

I never said that I put Thugish skills in doubt. I respect his win and also the people he beat to reach the top. But, Malek won EVO and lost to Omega 10 to 4 in a casual match. I just like to see Thug vs Omega for a more accurate result between them.

Peace
