Also i know your probably thinking offline you would twitch duck all grabs so 3B wouldn't work or you would crouch and react to 3B but that's not what you would actually do. Also i never said run and do a 3B mixup but there's obviously alot of factors that aren't being taken into consideration and there's no point in bringing it all up in here.

Well there are times when you can CHBBB at the wrong time and at the wrong range. For example there are times when I do hit with CHB but the second B whiffs and when I had my third B blocked then I'm in deep shit.

For me, I mainly rely on single B pokes into other mix-ups. Like I do a single B and wait to see what the opponent does. If he/she tries to pull off something I interrupt with a 6K unless the opponent has something better to deal with. If I got to the point where the opponent becomes really hesitant then I pull off 1K or 2K.

BTW with CH2A+B you can follow-up with WSA which enable you to do 3 things: aK, 3A+B and 4KK

-aK gives you BT mix-ups BTB+K and BT2K if you hit with BTB+K you can do iGDR or 3B; otherwise, with BT2K you just follow-up with WSBB.

-3A+B stuns the opponent and enables 44B tech trap which can only be teched to the left (not sure about that direction); otherwise, I use 3B to hit the grounded opponent which I also think can be teched the other way. 3B isn't a tech trap btw just to hit the grounded opponent.

-Finally 4KK is very good for W! combos.
 
but aB is a good bit faster and has a good bit more range, plus I've never seen anyone step it. BB I like for "accidental" counterhits and mixups. I see where ur comin from though, u like going for big damage, cool.
 
Fran: If you like using BBB, then i would learn how to hit confirm it. i think with asta if you get BBB CH, you also get a 11K follow-up for free.

From the looks of these convos to me all of this technical talk about what they punished and should of used and blah blah blah doesn't mean too much in the moment of competition. When the pressure is on and its time to put up i usually don't see too many players with all the knowledge they spit perform no were as near as well as they claim the things that should be done on here. I've played some pretty well knowledge'd people that knew some of the stuff you guys said and I still end up winning or holding my own simply from reaction and good instinct. Duh you'll learn whats safe and not after being punished enough or punishing but its just all on the player... DanMan is a good example of what i mean. He isn't too technical on all the stuff you guys are saying but when its go time he brings the heat lol. I hope I can make it to devastation to play more of you SC Encyclopedia people lol ;)

lol @ sword....yea, if you're talking about Him v Nori. They played more solid the night before. But with me, he knew i was a special case and had to be choosy since i wouldn't fall for those gimmicks of his.

i know he <3's me too from that match. Made that man grab a cig when he got done beating me lol
