Theory Calibur/Go to DEV/Like This Post Thread

Reading words would've cleared that up

I know my posts look like this:
"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Cras a facilisis ligula. Sed eu sodales nulla. Phasellus porta hendrerit tincidunt. Phasellus porttitor egestas placerat. Curabitur mollis nunc ac sem volutpat venenatis. HILDE Mauris sagittis varius augue. Sed laoreet magna vitae lacus aliquam euismod. Sed gravida, nisl id sagittis feugiat, velit purus venenatis arcu, at malesuada purus odio ac ante. Donec eu nibh BROKE in lorem aliquam accumsan. Aliquam eget metus sapien. Aliquam vel sem purus. Phasellus pretium varius est et vestibulum. Nulla facilisi. Aliquam et dui mi. Sed sodales dui et felis HITS BUTTONS fermentum egestas. Donec rhoncus semper facilisis. Sed arcu libero, aliquet eu sollicitudin non, tempor a ante. Maecenas interdum, libero ac fringilla lobortis, metus WIN nunc suscipit felis, scelerisque imperdiet mauris est eu quam. TITS Aliquam diam dui, iaculis quis mollis sed, volutpat non eros."

but you'll notice strange things called sentences and supporting thoughts in between the sparkly key words.

IFB:
I don't think theories should be ignored all the time. But it definitely doesn't make sense to talk about them foremost when people have nothing to work with to understand you. It's just a voice blabbering on and on. I'm all for rationality, but practicality that is understood and meaningful to other players is slightly more important. Priorities.

Excuse me? I don't remember claiming anything so outrageous that people are jumping all over me to tell me I'm wrong. Why would I? I'm not that kind of person.

I know it's getting silly on the trolling, but in all seriousness why do people have an issue with me having an opinion RO's shouldn't has such long range? I'm open to debate on the matter, I just don't get why people instantly rage that I don't feel the current system is perfect and could use tweeks

I can be convinced to change my stance, it has been done before

Idk what everyone's problem with talking about "theory," it's one of the few things that are worth doing on the forums, other than shit talking and getting help

what move is this??? 3B is i19 btw...
I don't mind theory fighter per say but arguing what is bs and not by it is stupid. I20 mid is FC A+BBBBBBBB gives +13 on block, (I22 if done from stamding almost perfectly for me, i cant get i21). IGDR is I15 that's what i meant, and there are a ton of other great options off it than the common 22B into ender of choice.

I wasnt raging... Just letting you know yoshi's shit isnt broke... The RO system isnt, never has been, nor ever will be perfect. Its kind of impossible... some people like one mistake ring outs, some people dont. Usually the people losing that pull the ring out off like it, the one on the recieving end of the RO doesnt. Or the guy that plays the character with a shitty RO game hates it, but the one with strong love it.

You could never make it perfect.

I never said Yoshi was OP, I just didn't like the RO potential and just that one move was because of that one reason. I can admit to bias though. I just feel discussions like this are important to help find a middle ground with the community so it hopefully can be reflected to the developers in future installments.

spreading the truth on cervy being powerful and top tier players being the first to truly prove it .
I say he's A tier, I just can't really unleash all his potential. really I meant to point out how a lot of characters can be exaggerated on in theory fighter. my opinion rests he's a great character without being broken.
now this part is to lost providence. I'm challenging you to a FT5 money match for 5 dollars. this isn't in any way exceptionally competitive but we still haven't played so maybe 5 dollars will make it more worthwhile.

I just want to post in this thread and get likes.

For the record, the notion of being able to ring out outside of a near-edge situation also bugs me because that changes RO from a "situational awareness" mechanic, to a standard "combo punish" mechanic. In Tekken 6, it doesn't matter how far the walls are away from you, because of the stupid wall carry abilities. Thus, WHERE the walls are stop mattering, and if you allow ringouts from further and further distances; it matters less where the ring edge is. That's actually making the game LESS complex and more lame.
