In case you didn't know, you cant go under 50%.

Seems like the pussy's would be the scrubs against fighting some one with 50% hp.

I dont expect to win with 50% hp, but i do expect to have more fun then playing the tournament with a character i dont know.
+ im sure i would still kill over half of you.
 
Chaos1x: You realize that if we allowed Hilde players in with the same stipulation, she could still easily win this tourney? Those characters are banned for a reason, just let it go.

I am very much uninterested in this tournament. As I said earlier, I just want to beast all of you one-on-one. I will either win or go even in casuals/money matches. Except for Amy and Ivy of course, lolll. Also, fuck Apprentice. Everyone else...I am looking forward to being pleasantly surprised if you beat me!!!

Please start posting when you buy your plane tickets and such...need some genuine hype here. My ticket is booked.

How are you coping out of the tournament even before it happens?
 
Tournaments would be cool, if FGs were balanced. But they're not, so lolol. I have to 'balance' it myself by making my own standards of what's fair, rather than letting someone else do it since they don't necessarily know any better. Hilde/Algol is a good medium, but not quite enuff. You can call me copping out all u want but meh, not gonna change what I really think. And I'm not gonna pretend and act like someone wins because of more skill when they don't. Besides Malice, you lost to me 10-0, that's the only reason u picking on me. I'll give you another 10-0. Or if not, then something nearly as convincing.

But you'll fly your ass all the way to Phoenix for a $10 MM? $20? You could have taken $10 and hop on the Megabus to Philly for NEC to play MMs with people.

If you want to talk balance, then you should be playing SSF4 or T6. Plus you use Sophie. You talk as if you are grinding it out with a low-tier character. Plus SC4 is more balanced than SC3 was. STOP!

You beat me couple of years ago when I was still learning this game and you should have since you've been playing longer than I have. What did you do in tournament? Not a damn thing.

I'm not trying to pick on you, but when you post nonsense like that, what do you expect me to say? If you flying out just to support the tournament, that's one thing. But flying all the way to a tournament that you are uninterested in is an excuse.

On occasion I even went places knowing my character was banned, but I went to play anyway. Who cares if there's no money to be gained? Why would I want to play a few good ppl for 10 or 20 dollars when I can play a wide range of excellence?

And yeah, ur right, I shouldn't bring up the time when I beat you, 'cause we've both improved significantly since then, which is still more of a problem for u than me.
 
What you posted is still an excuse since there's nothing stopping you from playing in tournament and doing MMs with people or playing anyone else that you want to.

Lets make DEVASTATION the premier USA SC4 major of 2K11! There will be top notch competition. The event will be held at the awesome same location as last year, plus the untouchably beautiful atmosphere of Phoenix in October.

Last year drew attendants from New York to San Francisco for SC4, and all the way from Korea for Tekken 6. Those of you who were at DEVASTATION 2K9 may remember that we had early versions of Tekken 6 and KOF12 open for free play all weekend, and we also had reps from Namco to discuss it with. Nothing is official about it yet, but IF there is an SC5 on the horizon, DEVASTATION 2K10 will likely be a place where you can test, check out, or discuss it with Namco reps. Really the possibilities are endless.

A new game is coming out. Maybe not this year, maybe not next year, but we all know it is. How about we give SC4 a proper send-off?

Well I, for one, will be attending 100%.

Right off the bat i would like to drop MM challenges to:

hey in vincent's defense...i've traveled to MANY tournaments just to play casuals, or to drop out after the first round or two because i find something local and interesting/would rather get drunk with my friends and BS. in fact...i've done that at almost every tournament i've ever gone to. last year i didn't enter DEV and did commentary, then, when krayzie got the boot, i was the first to say "fuck this team tourney i'm going outside to get more drunk with my homie." at FSAK, i was among the first to say "fuck this round robin shit i'm going outside to get drunk with my homies." in 2009 at NATS qualifiers in san diego, i heard there was a beach 2 blocks away and was like, "fuck these stinky nerds i'm going to the beach to get drunk with homeless people."

it isn't making excuses. it is called having your priorities straight!

that said: the official announcement will be up at the end of this month. all the games/pots are gonna be announced at phoenix comicon, which is the 26-69th iirc. i'm wondering...would you guys rather tack on a team tourney to make up for the unfinished business from last year...or an sc3 tourney?

hawkeye...fixed it for ya. ;)
