Dude you are comparing a game that was made in 1990s to a new game and let me assure you in terms of potential Ike wins over Marth the only Lord that have potential similar to Ike is Sigurd (for the 30 mt weapon)and don't make me laugh Ogma (a character) having the edge over Ike (Lord/Main character in the series).
 
Since Nightmare is confirmed, I hope he has changed weapon. Seriously? Four confirmed characters so far and only 2 weapons(Sword and Shield+Greeeeeaaatsword).

Lame.

Both the latest Fire Emblem games released (remakes) featured Marth and crew. They are retro AND current right now.

Uh, what? Do you mean moveset potential or chance to get into SC? Because 30 mt weapons means NOTHING.

Yeah, never mind Ogma and Nabarl being far more popular than Ike. Never mind the fact that Celice is a more popular lord, just in case the "lord" thing meant so much.

Ike has been in his last FE game(almost certainly, his games had weak sales), which means he won't be the ad for the current FE series(which is the main reason he was in SSBB). Marth and the others have a chance to be in more, and are also the most current AND have always been more popular. Ike has precious little chances of being in any future games(likely being dropped for a new guy in the next SSB).

If we get FE Guests, we likely get Marth+New Game Guy or in case of no new game, likely Marth+Popular FE Guy/Girl.

Or in case of just one character, we get Marth, the absolute favorite of the FE fans, and the most recent, most recurring, most famous, and also the original FE character.
 
From past experience - don't our online mirror matches usually consist of me getting drunk, picking your main, using lag then losing anyway? XD

Give me a knuckle to go with that chuckle(Yeah, my rap isn't great). Anyways, I always saw Peach as the dumb blonde/slut/etc. Always leaving for Bowser and when Mario saves her, she like "makes" herself kidnapped. Poor Mario.


Characters in SCV I want out of the poll as of now? Either Lightning or the Assassin Creed dudes(Altair or Ezio). Mainly Lightning for I love her design. But if it's Assassin's Creed instead, I have no problems with them. So it's a win-win situation for me if any of these two franchises decide to make a cameo with SCV.

He has a signature move ( AETHER!!!) while no body in Fire Emblem has. 1 point for Ike over every other Fire Emblem character.

Where did you get this crap from? Ike wasn't a promotional character Roy was because he SSBM was released before Fire Emblem: Fuuin no tsurugi . Moreover why would they include Ike in his Ranger class with Ragnell , what does that mean? .....don't worry I'll answer this question for you he was included for the sake of the character not promotional, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn was released year before SSBB and Path of Radiance was 3 years before it that is one hell of promotional campaign.

I hate Marth but I won't deny if we had one character Marth would be the obvious choice because he is more "recognized" while Ike isn't that much but don't claim that Marth is the absolute favorite of FE fans.

Hail to you I'm sorry for being arrogant but you when your favorite character is getting the "F" word it irritates you. Anyways my bad i shouldn't have come to these forums because it seems there are alot of smartasses who judge from the cover.
 
What reply? I don't see anything wrong with their posts as they are simply OPINIONS. You were making it personal and insulting them in your post and that's why I deleted it.

Edit: Ok apparently Synraii's post is offensive to you. He's just stating his opinion on the character, he's not attacking YOU. Sure it's not "cool" to say it that way but it's just part of the discussion unfortunately.

All I ask is for everyone to AT LEAST respect the fact that people have different opinions on things. Conflict in a topic like this is bound to happen, keep it civil.
 
Would probably be better in the SCV Speculations thread, but I wouldn't mind having a keyblade fighter.
 
I vote for Kingdom Hearts because I think they fit better but Naruto would be cool too because ninjas kind of fit in with the soul calibur storyline.
