Look at it this way, his Mother (Sophitia) is supposed to resemble a Greek Goddess. What does he resemble? To me he is something like a German Hunter due to the animal on his shoulder. His sister looks somewhat Greek but Patroklos seems to miss out on that family old tradition.

I thought you hinted the Ottoman empire, since Greece was under their domination, but Patroklos doesn't look like Ottoman... neither Greek.
