Fellow Soul Caliburists!

Yours sounds good! :D
Regarding suicide details... Kilik and I find her dead, given lots of details about the aftermath! We 'assumed' she commited suicide, because she seemed jealous of me and Kilik ^.^ then I have to take her place in making Soul Calibur (mine takes place during SC1)

Team Mi-na forever! ;D :sc4min1:
That still sounds completely awesome! I love that your story is taking place in SC1.

"Caliburists"?

Well, anyway, hey.
If you read previous posts of mine, it says Im training myself to be better, then i will enter tournaments and stuff. I am trying to fully master characters first. E.g: combo execticutions, like Setsuka's (which is quite difficult...) and I am trying to master Amy's moveset too.

Believe me, I am more than interested to be better. I am devoted! :)

My favourite would probably be either SC1, or SC3. They had good story lines.
(p.s: realised that you signiture is the 'scrubby ways' line, sorry ^^

Welcome. This is definitely the site to get better. I started out a casual player and this site helped break me into tournaments and competitive levels with fighting games. Take time to learn who's who in the tournament scene when it comes to your character. Many of the top players are very willing to give info on how to master that character and what to look for. Some players will offer their time to do online matches and help you improve (check out our chat or in sections for matchmaking).

Going competitive can take some work as there's many concepts new people tend to not understand at first, but whatever you starting level is we can help. Take a look at the stickies and familiarize yourself with frame data and advanced concepts just to make sure you up to snuff before focusing on character specifics. Partisan has a wonderful video if you don't grasp frame data and I have a few links in my signature that have helped players.

Good luck and hope we can get you to your first tournament.

Welcome aboard! I had to say something in this thread, just because I love the sound of the word "soul caliburists!". Sounds like something from the turn of the century, 1900. Capitol! Bully I say!
I was deciding between 'Caliburists' and 'Caliburians' but the first flows better. :) we need a name for us devoted to Soul Calibur after all ^^

Caliburists, Lol, I like you ;) Welcome to the club!
PS. I've written a fanfic or two but I thought mentioning it around here is taboo >.>
Aha, lol thanks! ^^
And of course it isnt! They made a fanfiction forum and everything! :D (I made the first post!)
It's under the 'Soul Calibur Media Library' section in the forums.
I'm writing a fanfic, although it is terrible -.- lol :sc4min1:

Uh... yeah, and until you arrived, no one would be caught dead there ^_^ So it's cool that you finally broke the ice.

Let us decide that :) Planning to post it or give us a link? I'd be happy to read it.

I am a top class ice breaker. ^^ lol :sc4amy1:

And yes, I'm waiting until I have completely finished writing it. I hate when people leave things half finished on fan fiction sites -.- I'll give everyone the link when I have finished. Meanwhile, if you have any ideas for my fanfic, do tell on the 'ice breaker' forum ^^
