people who understand the game, like the game, respect the community and are strikingly beautiful aren't exactly a dime a dozen.
 
ok so I forget who else you play. But i dont wanna play against sophie. Even if you no maxi knowledge at all (which Im guessing urs is limited) sophie is auto-win.

I just wanna be able to tell my grandkids "I played vincent back at DEV 2011."

You'll at least stand a chance. I mainly do throw mixups, lol. I hardly go for her big damage. I'm an unusual Sophi in that regard. So any character can stand a chance against me.
 
Aris has already stated he does not want to commentate on Soul Calibur, so that won't be happening. I'm actually not sure who our commentators will be though. I suppose myself and Lobo are an option since I don't think either of us are playing (I doubt I'll have the time, but we'll see how Saturday goes). However, my knowledge of SC4 isn't what it used to be since I haven't played competitively in so long. I'm open to suggestions for commentators.

Also, while we'll at least be streaming just about every match after the first round, since we have so many top players attending (and a special surprise... which should be announced this week... hopefully), I may see if we can stream the entire tournament, start to finish.

The only problem with this is that the tournament will run long since we'd be using one setup instead of the 4-5 we are planning to use at the moment. We'll see how things are running on Saturday and go from there, but expect a lot of stream love for SC4.

Side note: There will be AT LEAST two Soul Calibur 4 setups at all times throughout DEV 2011. So you guys can play casuals all night Thurs (if you're coming to the pre-party) and all day Fri/Sat/Sun (aside from the tournament time on Sat).
 
Hi, I'm willing to attend to the tournament, but I have some monetary issues atm, I would need some help if possible, I would need at least help with half of my ticket and some place to stay, (NFK, you still have a place for me?), it's an international trip and is more expensive than a domestic flight for anyone of you (411 dls), if I manage to go, I'll promise to put up some show.
Thanks in advance, I know that this community is great, in my few trips I have known wonderful people as players and as friends.

To all those driving to DEV. My place in San Diego is still open to those that wanna have a little practice/mini-tourney at my place before the actual tourney starts.

Im leaving 3am saturday morning, So Signia, NFK, Revin, Tag, and the nor-cal crew (if ur other travel arrangments fell through) are more than welcome to come down friday afternoon, play, eat, drink, crash at my place and we all leave for DEV the next morning. Or whatever will accomidate you, I will make it happen!!
