Whoa, whoa, there! (^O_O)^ Now don't get me wrong. I love tira and have been really getting into her playing style for the past couple of months. but for me I have to make a custom for her because the voice cracks some of my drinking glasses. Especially when losing to her and having to hear that jolly voice makes me go, "ARRRRGGH!" I have 5 little brothers and she sounds like the youngest and most childish ones. Not only with the pitch of her voice but what she says too. doesn't mean she's kinda coo-coo doesn't mean she has to have the mentality of a 3 or 4 year old. but I'm good with the gloomy side voice. I hope Leixia's voice energetic and playful like SC2 Xianghua. I don't mind that because it's playful not, "I'm a three year old in a sixteen or fifteen year old body. (that's how old Lexia is isn't she?)
 
I don't want to pick a fight but I don't find much to like about X. She's kind of annoying, her story lost relevance and she has a crush on my second fave SC guy (:P)
I am however, excited for Leixia! I hope she isn't as well... irritating as her mother (sorry for any hurt sentiments, it's just an opinion)
I was kind of hoping she could be mature and a bit serious (balance out Natsu?) but fine, she's just a kid anyway :P
 
Xianghua's voice is annoying? No way! I personally think that Leixia's only line should be "Just kidding!" She should say it during every attack and after winning every battle.

Anyways, I'm starting to think that Leixia would replace Talim as the timid attacker (not to be confused with the apologetic attacker, which would be Pyrrha).

I second that opinion. Just kidding! And I will be SO pissed if Talim dosen't come back. She's one of the most unique fighters with and amazing style. She is what makes me want to learn how to fight with tonfas. xD
 
Xianghua IS annoying, but I love her regardless. For some reason I really like annoying characters. :3

Now I do like Leixia's design, but I don't think it will be the same. She'll probably grow on me, though, just like several other characters have.

Anybody think Xianghua will be available as a DLC character?

Oops. I should clarify that. I predict Talim will be back, but she won't be the timid attacker anymore.

oh. Well then probably not because by now she'd be 37. And since she's still the last babylan She probably won't have any kids. Sucks huh?
Edit: Yeah you're right 32 not 37. xD I don't know where that came from.
 
Xianghua is supposed to annoy people, if you ask me. That's why I love her!

I mean c'mon, she's pretty much the only character who benefits from taunting your opponent, gameplay-wise....that mean's she's the original troll, and supposed to get people agitated. That's what I think.

What I like about her (and why I picked her over taki in SC1) is that she has this allure of having fun and laughing and playing around while everyone else is being dead serious. This is especially cool when you outsmart your opponents by doing thinks like Hou Lee(A+K) mix-ups under predicted AA's, or doing Guei(crybaby) on aggressive opponents that lead to their loss

I really want to try doing all kinds of taunts in the middle of match play at NEC. :)

I just really hope Project Soul doesn't screw up and gimp Leixia's playstyle, like they seem to have done with Ivy, Natsu, and Mitsurugi. SC4 Xianghua is super fun to play with
 
I just hope to god Leixia is a Talim kind of teenager and not a friggin Amy kind of teenager. I would love it if Leixia had the trolling aspect of her mom because I think it would be cuter on a little girl. Hopefully she'll be like Talim in the sense that she packs a punch but she's still sweet and cute and kinda innocentish as she's beating ass. I hope to god they don't make her like Amy. Every time Amy frikkin thought she was saying something philosophical I just wanted to shout at her. Like wtf...

I mean they both have crazy hair so you never know.

I hope she’s like neither. I hope she’s like her mom, who objectively speaking is a lot more like a real teenager than either Talim or Amy. Amy was just... boring and featureless, devoid of motivation or interest. At least she was better than Talim, though - man, Talim was the absolute worst. A shallow, painful attempt at a kiddy character with all her breathy little “soar!”s and “wind, to me!”s.

If they absolutely, must make Leixia kawaii, then they better go all out and inject some actual life into her. Talim just... creeps me out. Too doll-like by far.
