BlazBlue - GuiltyGear's next gen cousin

Holy shit, just shut up about the game balance. A large majority of you haven't even touched the game, a large majority of you don't even know what you are talking about on top of the game still being fairly new. Yes the 'top 3' are better than the rest as of now, but everyone and i mean EVERY CHARACTER has some really nasty shit they can do. This isn't like SF4 / 3rd strike where the top and the bottom are so far apart there is going to be a clear winner pretty much every time.

Move on to another subject instead of whining please.

I'll be out playing offline for the majority of the day today with friends, but people can add me if they want, I'll get around to trying out online eventually, lol.
 
God, jerks at gamestop had a problem with my billing info, and didn't give me any notice. At least they changed it to overnight shipping for free, unless they change that and don't tell me either.

Tourney players actually care about the stigma? I thought it was all about picking the best characters to win the money.

On topic.

Everyone who has the game so far, what are your first impressions of the game. I probably won't get it for another week or so.
 
The game feels like a more comprehinsible version of Guilty Gear. Like, im able to follow what's going on in this game more than I can for Guilty Gear - which im loving.

But as a game - it WELL done. Extremely well thought and developed. The stuff u get with the box is good too - the soundtrack and DVD. AKSYS knows how to deliver.
 
So I guess I'll stick with Noel. She's pretty fun to play. But I'm going to learn v-13. After looking at that DVD and noticing how many of her combos actually ONLY consist of D, I laughed.

Noel is fun though. Yea her voice is kind of annoying, guess I'll be muting the TV and blasting the stereo as usual.
 
I just got my copy and I LOVE IT! I am doing story mode now and I will keep it in English for the time being so I can get a taste of everyones voice!

I hope I don't have to make separate save files for each character -_-;

Finally got home to play my own copy, lol.

The English voices are actually all pretty good in this game. Some characters might not be exactly on par but those that aren't, aren't far away from being on point. They all range from tolerable to likable. I'm opted to not even turn the JPN voice track on since I'm enjoying the ENG voices. Aksys did an excellent job localizing this game. Good shit. I'll be playing through story finally.

To be fair, it's hard to be as cool as Slayer. I also hate the gothloli characters, but don't hate Rachel quite as much as some others.
