If you had to pick an age to be for your whole life, knowing that you would just stay that age and never grow older, what age would you pick? Why?

Each age has its advantages. As a little kid, for example, you could be taken care of for your whole life, without having to work, but you don't have as many liberties...
 
i get the oddest feeling that this thread is a direct result of someone who just seen "In Time"....

it's probably just me.. and i know it can't be true.. because who wants to actually see that piece of crap?
and I wouldn't pick immortality. because as most cases, the joy of it will eventually wear off and then what are you stuck with? an eternal never ending life. god forbid you pick up a life long disease... yeah.. that'll be stuck with you forever.

no, i'd rather die and be forgotten, only to be remembered by a few more generations.. only to be rediscovered again when one of my descendants goes on one of those little sites about heritage and family trees and all that.

and then realizes that the madness will live on. never dying.. forever smiling. patiently waiting, to be brought out into the light.

I would stay the age I am now forever, (19) because I'm sexy and I prefer girls around the 17-18 age anyway.
 
Living the age I am right now, forever with the inability to die, get sick, or break/lose limbs. You know, true immortality...Would be awesome...cause I could make fun of people twice in their life times....once when they're younger than me and once more when they are old and cripple. Cause deep down, I'm just a jerk like that.

Outside of that I'd just drift and enjoy watching the earth just eventually, destroy itself. Grinning ear to ear watching it happen knowing deep down, nothing good came from it anyway.

18-24 is given I believe. You have a decent amount of youth and knowledge. My idea number would be 22 realistically but 17 would be the Golden Age (if I knew all things I know now).
 
Venting.....

Immortality is the true dream for anyone who wants to look young forever. I want to be 18-24 forever as much as the next guy. But, who to share it with when you're tired of living for yourself? It's rather sad if everyone you know gets "replaced" simply by age. Should I have this, I'd be a youthful shell with an aged mind doing the same old thing just to be "the perfect young wise kid with everything". Women, money, cars, charity, etc. I'd be tired of that.

Hmmmm yeah. I fine letting myself age.....as long as I have someone to age with. I will pout and what have you when I'm called "gramps", but then it's generally a good thing despite the sad reality of dying gracefully. But for now, I'm gonna relish every moment of being the "young, inquisitive, playful, and easygoing guy". Then its get married should I get there. And finally, see your kids grow up. And let them be the ones to pass the torch to theirs and so on. Despite the religion stuff, we're pretty much just born to multiply and die. Jobs, ideals, money, etc doesn't come with you to your grave lol.
 
If I was immortal, I would be more concerned with total world domination than trivial things like romance ~_~

It's bound to get old Lobo. I know it did for me. Even if I see a cute 17 year old girl, she then opens her mouth and shows the immaturity that just turns me off in women now. Wait, I take that back, I don't want to be 17 forever cause if I had to deal with the majority of 17 year olds all the time I would go crazy.
