I really don't like the arcade stick, but the ps3 controller is also no good, so I was wondering if someone can recommend me a fighting controller or something like that? links if possible. Thanks!

the D pad, if I use the ps2 controller I can do a SS or CS with Ivy, no problem, but with the ps3 one, if I do a 236 is an achivement XD. Maybe a PS2 converter could help :PFor what reasons do you dislike the PS3 pad? Knowing this can help us recommend you a new pad.
I can't do Ivy's grabs at all on the D-Pad lol. Stick all the way.the D pad, if I use the ps2 controller I can do a SS or CS with Ivy, no problem, but with the ps3 one, if I do a 236 is an achivement XD. Maybe a PS2 converter could help :P

The d-pad looks the same but it's not. Even the newest ps2 controllers use the updated model. I had this problem too. My d-pad gradually seemed more smooth after countless hours of play but I cant truly say it's as good as a classic ps2 controller. The trigger R2 and L2 also creates ambiguity with when the attack activates so its hard to encorporate thos buttons for JFs.The D-pad is pretty much exactly the same from PS2 to PS3 as far as I know, so I assume it's all placebo on your part. But if you prefer old school d-pad, get a PS1 controller and buy a converter for that - awesome d-pad of a PS controller without bulky "triggers" and analog sticks.
Perfect solution i guess... any good converter? The d-pad looks the same but it's not. Even the newest ps2 controllers use the updated model. I had this problem too. A classic ps2 controller with a converter seems like a decent option for your situation. Unless there is another reason the pad isn't working out for you.
I personally own a Versus Fighting Pad. The stick clicks for the 8 directions, I can input things faster with it than a standard pad, but still can't do Sieg agA. Good overall to me though.Have you thought about using a Fight pad?

I've never used one so I can't tell you how they play or feel.
I actually don't know any good converters myself but if you ask around I'm sure someone can tell you a good one. If you go into java chat you can probably get a quick answer.Perfect solution i guess... any good converter?
I got one off of a eBay for like $8 and it works perfectly. It also doubles as a PS2->Xbox360 convertor. (requires wired Xbox360 controller to do that though) This is it:Perfect solution i guess... any good converter?
