Viola Story

Sorry, been a while and now I'll keep the ball rolling.

First, why does everybody hate on Amy?

Second, why would he think that she would still be a little girl? We've seen the similarities and Raph's her foster father for goodness sake.

And adding onto the whole, Amy=Viola speculation, if her lost memories did return, then wouldn't you suppose she would say something to Raph before they fought or something. Instead, Raph's entry quote, and victory quote, are just confusing to us.

Fourth, feel free to discuss Zwei and Viola's relationship. I didn't want to bring it up earlier because I still feel awkward about calling them antagonists...... so yeah.
 
They love Amy, they just hate fighting her. :P

Probably because while she was nursing Raphael, she got some of the evilness on her too, so he thought she stopped aging just like him.

Well, probably says something in story mode but not in normal fights because in that time she doesn't have her memory back even though what I just said is kinda a paradox.

Smexy stuff goin on between them............ Seriously, they're eventually going to fall in love. But besides that they are really good friends who trust each other with their own life.
 
Another question, why would Amy/Viola age to an adult, sorta, and Raph stays the same.

Also, I thought the events in the story happens before the fights and stuff. So, I guess a little heads up to Raph would have been nice before she lost and everything.
 
Is the amnesia thing bugging anyone else? I hate it when people do this to characters to avoid having to explain the characters actions.

Amnesia is usually a plot bunny used to create suspense for a character's plot development. Usually, amnesia is used for recurring characters to have a "fresh start" and to introduce a new arc into the story. Currently, we don't know if Viola is Amy, but obviously amnesia is being used to give her that "fresh start"- we don't know what happened, she doesn't know who she is, and that's what we want to know, and that's part of why we will be buying SCV. :P
 
I know it has been said but people do realize that Raphael's statement at the beginning of his battle to Viola is the same as his comment to Amy in SCIV. Who are you?

not saying viola = amy (evidence says it not me) but if you don't see her in any of the upcoming reveals you might want to ask yourself where she is.
 
I think most Amy fans have accepted that she might not be in the game. But some are just happy with her style possibly being in character creation. Other's like me want answers.

Viola most obviously is Amy.

1. Both Viola's en & jp voice actors sound similar just like Amy's SCIV en & jp voice actors. (I know Heather Hogan's voice, that's got to be her voice. Namco may be attempting to raise suspense and not release her voice actress.)

2. Daishi has mentioned he wishes to get rid of clone weapons, of which Amy was the second to use a rapier.

3. Amy was very popular from a character perspective, but hated as an overpowered style.

4. Daishi has also mentioned one returning character will be using a different weapon.

5. Viola's claw is on the hand opposite from Amy's dominant hand in SCIV...but she seems to control the orb more with said dominant hand than clawed hand.

6. The 24 star years listing her age, means her age has been tracked by a certain passing star, not a typical year. Who is to say that star takes a full year to pass? Even if it did, many characters have stopped aging by SCV...why did they all have to halt age at the same time? Perhaps Amy halted age at 24, the same time she lost her memory perhaps? (Also, she was traveling with ZWEI when she regained her memory in a town center, apparently.)

He's been dead/out of it for 17 years, but he has no sense of how much time has passed.
 
Viola's bio is a mystery. And Amy might be history. I still think they should somehow give us her style but not, how you say, overpowered, and be equal to everyone else.
Whether she's going to end up with ZWEI at her story, or reunite with Raph, is something else.

Also, how come some of the clothes are also recolored. I understand the hair, but the clothes, might not be important, but just a small question.

...and Viola is a woman who lost her memory, and looks, dresses, and sounds very much like Amy?

I like how Viola's quotes in her battle with Zwei kind of tell you how they feel about each other. She doesn't really want to fight him. And then she tells him to wake up. Does anyone know where that video is? I forgot.
