[Chicago, IL] anyone out here play?

Anyone up for games at downtown? it's been long since i played sc and i really want to play some games before scv :(

If anyone happens upon an early copy, we should get together and play this weekend.

Also, next Tuesday, I'll be having a small get-together from about 5:00-10:00 to play.
 
so tokyo you wanna meet up before release or you wanna wait?
 
I think we all wanna wait til SC5.. that way everyone starts off on the (somewhat) same skill levels.
 
Yeah, it'd probably be better for everyone to meet up and play SC5 so that everyone starts fresh and is learning together for the most part. As always, just let me (and everyone else) know when and where.

I'm in Chicago(Southside).

I've played every Soul Calibur game to date including Blade/Edge. In no way do I claim I'm an expert at the game, though I always somewhat kept up with what was going on in the high level parts of the scene. Even when I was like 13 playing SC2 and I was registered over at the old spot Caliburforum. Me and another Southside fighting game enthusiast used to play SC4 and that was some of the best fun I've personally ever had, but gave it up for SF4.

I got the SC5 CE fully paid off and the TE stick is on the way so no turning back now.

Cool! I actually stay on the Southside too! It's pretty cramped but I wouldn't mind playing when he game comes out or meeting with you and your friends! We usually play at Tokyo's or whatever the hell he calls him. He stays on the Westside but we could always carpool there!

It is really just me and one other guy that was down with SC4 lol.

But yeah that's pretty awesome. Where do you stay! I live 5 minute walk to 95th Red line. I'm down for whatever. Should be fun. Just wish I played SC4 on stick, so I'd at least be somewhat familiar to it. But whatevs, it'll be a learning experience.
