Wen - Do you want to co-mod the Xiba Soul Arena with me? I'm currently the SA mod for Dampierre and Xiba, and since I'll be focusing more on Dampierre I'm looking to get a second person to help me handle and maintain Xiba's SA.

Wallace it actually uses 2 meters so it's fair. I didn't take the meter off of infinite so I didn't know it costs 2 bars rather than 1. Props to page for letting me know about it.

Still the damage though was pretty intense! 210 on CH 196 on reg since Algol's CE hits OTG.
 
Is there any reason that Wallace is in SC5??? I just encountered a cpu character named 'SilentWall' playing Nightmare... Do you guys have some friends on the dev staff that I never learned about? lol.
 
There was a contest before where you input your name to a site and Dev team will put your name in the game along with the character you chose. That is why you will see familiar names in there.

I am disappointed with SC5 Yoshimitsu.
I may switch him out unless my Yoshimitsu peeps give me a good enough reason why.

Complaining about your character on day 1? Ridiculous.

What are you basing your complaints off? Training mode and theory fighter? Less than couple days worth of casual matches?

I say you you invest time into him and find out how fun he is first hand by bringing him to high level play.

I don't get how some people are so quick to judge. Give him more time rather than just a couple of days. You might change your mind.

Russell, I read your thread in full. I have these comments, which are more for you, but I suspect they have a more general utility. Please advise if you think I should copy to your thread:

I have one thought in response to this message, Russell. If it hurts, you gotta leave it . Not permanently; hear this out. This is a whole new system. All kinds of fun moving parts. The one and only one thing to do with this discovery period is play around and see how you respond to it. Rediscover what you want from this game, don't evaluate it to an emotional standard you bring before the fact - not one that is just making you hurt.
It is entirely reasonable to hang up the mask (or whatever the costume/equipment metaphors are for Yoshis) at this time, in this context. It is not a snap decision. It is not set in stone. It is simply you recognizing a way to interact in a more wise, more self-serving manner with this game, because you are a complex creature, and taking time to "get it right", whatever it is you choose to do, is inherently valuable. Here, 'getting it right' includes serving all of your needs, including the need to feel there is a point to what you're doing, even at play.
The first step was identifying your discontent - which you did! (Aside: your writing has a certain high quality, Russell. Even though I misread when you get more jokesy, you have an articulate voice.) Now, you perceive, and you ... respond.

I base my opinion on what he had in SCIV and what he has in SCV.
There's just no plus that I can see at this time.
I didn't say I was gonna quit him, i'm saying that i'm disappointed with what he has.
He did not gain anything that changes his gameplay. It's like he got demoted.

Oof: Thanks for offering me the job, but I can't do it. I hardly visit the forum, never mind posting something useful... lol. I'll try posting more once I get a good feel of X.
