Do you insult people online after losing to them?

i only get upset at spammers. whether i lose or win i don't care because spammers piss me off period. faced a guy last night that did like 30 grabs during the whole match and like 2 different kinds of attacks. he thought he was good but i told him that i could pick up any character in the game and play the same way he did. the problem was that i said that i was going to record the match and post it. then i got a slew of spammers coming at me. didn't know so many existed including that guy. i don't record spammy matches. those are no fun to play let alone watch.
 
I can honestly say that I've never sent hatemail to anyone. Even if they are being cheap, I feel like I was stupid enough to fall for it. Doesn't mean that I don't get pissed. When I fight Nightmare I autorage because people always do vertical moves and then spam meter by doing his deadly CE. But! Now that I know that's how some Nightmare players play, I know to quickstep and whiff punish the SHIT outta them! 236B! EEEYYYYAAAHHHH!
 
I just eat a ton of this shit. It gives me the necessary nutrients to belt out a disgruntled formal complaint.

This game is far more simpler than SC IV in my opinion. Except for a few matches where my xbox has over-heated ( had mine since the first month 360 was released ) I've managed to rack up a 46W 7L in ranked. I meeeeeeeeeean like ZAAAAAAAAMN Charlie Sheen eat ya' heart out cuz' I'm WINNNNNNNNN-TIIIIIIIIIIING. Got my first 'fag' message last night... how rejuvenating it felt to know my homoz are doing their job and slaying these heteros ~ one pink slash at a time ~ expressssss YO'SEEEEEEEELF *madonna voice*

easier said than done. i had to have broken 15 grabs in one match but because of the shave damage i still take the same amount of damage as a good hit from NM. and i dare not duck because the guy was spamming over head hits as well. but he was mixing them up so it wasn't predictable. i still got a 100+ win to my 11 loses though in the global Colosseum thing but if i'm gonna have a loss i would like it to be more legit. i didn't learn a darn thing walking away from that fight. i would rather learn how something does/doesn't work after a fight whether I win or lose.

I don't send any out. If I lose, I either have respect for my opponent for being good, or direct my anger at myself for not executing strategy X/Y/Z against them if they're using cheap tactics. That said, a little disappointed i haven't received any hatemail yet in ~75 matches played, although some catty bitches wanted to call me a buttonmasher via chat because I knew when they were at disadvantage and how to use a decent mid-low mixup.

I'm actually kind of sad that I haven't received any hate mail yet. I've only gotten one message from someone but I only got it because they had confused me with someone else who had talked shit to them earlier. :-(
 
I send out hate mail when I win so my opponent knows how shitty they are at this game. Oh and I spam the same move the entire match if you don't block and I'll grab all day if you don't duck my grabs. Why would I not abuse the hell out of something if you don't know how to stop it? Seriously if you're in a boxing match and your opponent is beating the shit out of you with jabs you don't go back to your corner and tell your coach " Coach he is spamming jabs the entire match tell him to stop it's not skill its cheap" Get over yourselves and learn to fucking adapt.
 
This is the one time I really wish there was a dislike button on the forum. The one thing which really bugs me about online gaming are all the jerks you run into. If someone isn't fun to play against, I'll just find someone else. No need to start raging at them.

One question: is playing like that fun? It seems like it would only ever work against newbies anyway. At least beat them with style so they can think "Oh wow, I wanna become as good as him!" instead of "Okay, this game is stupid..."
 
I insult people I lose to offline, if that counts.

Case in point, Talon bodied me at the release party, so I hugged him, told him he was a cunt then we had more casuals, lol. That was a fun day ^^
 
I'm not very good at Soul Calibur yet, I'm terribly out of practice, still practicing and honing my skills. My win rate is like 45%, but you dont see me complaining


Bottom line is this. Raging on the internet just makes you look like a whiny kid, a true warrior sucks it up and learns from their mistakes, and prepares for the next battle by reflecting on them. :D

Yeah it's pretty entertaining just winning by simply stepping and pressing B. If they think the game is stupid because they are losing to someone who is pressing one button to win then they should just put the game away. I use to complain about spamming until I decided to stop bitching and and learn how to play the game.
