Hey! Good games to everyone I played at this Cheesy Fights thing tonight. We'll see if I stick with Mitsurugi or not, but, either way, I want to try and make it out to more sessions/host something of my own soon.
 
Shout outs to everyone who made it for sure. Congrats to Cam once again for winning it all. I'll figure that dead Indian chief son of a bitch one of these days goddammit! Gald to see the new faces and hope to keep them around. Mat and Tommy it was a pleasure and hopefully we'll get to see you both a lot more often.

Sean you're a beast and I got so lucky to get by you that second time. Rob, thanks for showing up and giving us your support. You're making us a legitimate scene. Fuck Astaroth! Thursday, Friday, and Saturday I believe we're gonna have something going on (not sure about Thursday as I don't know if anyone's doing anything then). Me and my boy Issac can get around 4 or 5 setups running (mostly 360, one ps3). How many people would be interested in going to woodinville on a weekly basis? Also this most likely would start out as Soul Calibur exclusively then seeing how it goes i might expand to the other big games.

Yeah it was dope to play and meet more people on Friday night at Jon's pad, thanks a lot for having us over dude. I too will probably start hosting small session at my house in Lake City (north Seattle) if any of you guys are close to me and have transportation...??? Most likely on Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays since those are my days off of work.

Also, to that guy who want's to hold sessions/tournaments in Woodinville, what exactly is the address of the place sir? If its close to a bus route I can perhaps show up on a regular basis.

I was playing Algol. People are (Rob in particular) starting to see through Algol's smoke and mirrors though. I'm not sure that character will end up strong, though I will attempt to make it work.

Woodinville is close to me so I'm in favor of it, but 3 weeklies is a lot. I don't know if people have so many evenings free, and our player base isn't really large enough (yet) that we should necessarily split sessions up. The maximum number of weeklies that I'm gonna show up on in any given week is 2, unless I'm preparing for a major tournament or something. That said, I'd be in favor of Gameclucks/Dante's and Woodinville, if the venue turns out to be good.

As far as the venue being good, it's a little small (basically a business suite) but i think it would work out pretty good. I'll probably host it once or twice just to see how people feel about it. I still need suggestions for what day to host it on though!

Friday: GreatOne's session!
Saturday: GameClucks Monthly @ Dante's in the U District. Doors open at 2pm. Tournament at 5pm. Venue fee: $5. Tournament: $10

For all tourneys, arrive early to get yourself in the bracket.
 
Well, Tuesday I work so I won't be able to make it then. Thursday, more than likely Sweets and I will be there. Friday you all know already that if you want to come through here we'll be ready. And Saturday we'll definitely be there.

Now as far as all these venues popping up and where everything is going to be and all that it's whatever you all want to do. I will say this, I throw these sessions because it's fun, I love chilling with y'all and getting in some good practice for this game. If it's overall better to have them somewhere else for everyone on Fridays by all means get it. I'll show up from time to time but I'm going to have to save my luck in driving whenever a tournament pops up locally around here.

I understand we're in a weird position what with still recruiting people over and try to show we're something they want to show up to at least once a week. This comes with a lot of logistical problems for the individual but whatever is best for the group as a whole is what should be done and everyone else needs to step in line. Either way y'all know I'll show my support anyway I can but I've only got those 3 days off so unless someone starts throwing some late night sessions on one of those other days i won't be able to show up to everything.

Well that was a bunch of convoluted thoughts I wrote down while distracted but basically it comes down to this, I'm open to anything but I'm limited by where and when I can go. I just want to get some games in and get better so when I travel out to these other guys states, I (and hopefully some of you will travel out with me and Sweets) won't get smashed on. Hell maybe we can win a few things. Let's just keep this thing going and get as strong as possible.
 
Hey Taber, did you figure on what character(s) you decided to main? I'm watching a lot of vids so I can post some of most characters here.
 
Hey, this is Tommy, aka that Aeon player at the Cheesy's event -- I had a great time, and thanks to everyone once again for being so nice and stuff! I'll definitely be trying to do my best to join more local events, as they are just great fun. Big thanks to Cam for letting me use his stick, too -- I'll need to buy one soon!

I'll definitely be around, but I'm not very good at posts, so I'm definitely more lurkish -- But hey, this is just a post that's saying I'm here and stuff!
 
Just wondering if anyone (GO) would be passing through the Ballard/Fremont area on the way to thursday's thing. I would love to go, but my car is currently out of commission. :/
