It'd be nice if MOST of the patterns didn't suck arse. Then again, I'm only level 30 and they keep unlocking up to 99, right? .-. But seriously, I've only found a use for like 3 stickers and 2 patterns. Stickers being that patch thing, the mana tree and uhm..... Ok, yea, 2 stickers then (scars aren't beautiful). The patterns were snakeskin and something with a lot of wispy marks. .-.
 
Patterns don't have to be used, even if you have the choice. Some designs are fine without having too much things going on on the surface. Too much is like not enough.

Playing too much The Sims 3 made me realize I can use some patterns to suggest textures by playing with the colors and size. In other words, I often use patterns mostly for additional details.

I find stickers useful.

Mostly because I'm obsessed with having gold trim on EVERYTHING. Most of my CAS characters are either Red/Blue main + Gold trim + Black/White secondary.

Example here using about 5 "square" stickers to gold trim a jacket and skirt. Also used a "pocket" sticker massively upsized for the corset around her abdomen.

Great job on that one! The gold trim idea is good to give more places for a 3-color palette. It's a shame many of the clothing in this game have only one color box. I hope that some of SCIV's 2P (or even 1P!) will be available as DLC. This type of thing, I don't mind telling them "TAKE MY MONEY".
 
Level 82 i believe and im at 97%...

Im not sure if this is painful or not. Started some ranked matches today but i doubt that ranking has anything to do with it.

Really appreciate all the updates you're giving us. But I have 3 questions if I may?
I think I remember you saying that once you are Player level 52, you stop getting clothing equipment but keep getting stickers, patterns, & backgrounds for the photos. Do you still get to unlock more specialized equipment? And my last two are with the stickers, do you unlock a sticker that has a lace up design? You know, the kind you'd see on a corset or lace-up boots? And also, are you able to unlock a carrying pouch bag? (Zwei has one on his thigh in his 1P outfit for example).

Has anyone found any way to apply stickers to your whole body? Like to your legs and stuff too? The reason I ask is that I was in a Japanese online battle room, and this player named Sasaki13 was using a female Voldo CaS that had blood splattered all over her body. Kind of like a nurse from Silent Hill. The blood was also under her clothes after they were blown off in battle too.... Not sure where they got the blood sticker, nor the ability to place them on their legs and upper body as well.

I was trying to take a picture from a saved reply, but the game does not allow the screen shot feature, except when in CaS editor. ;(

You can try looking up the Sasaki13 PSN name and see if you can download a replay from their player license. Oh! looks like they have a picture of the character in their main style portrait!

I hit level 99 tonight, and did not notice any lace stickers. :( Also, I have not seen any specialized equipment since the mid 50's. I also could not find a pouch bag. I'm very sorry for the bad news. It says that I have 100% of the items, but you never know. Like I was saying in the post above, there are some people playing with blood stickers that I have never seen, so here is to hope! :)

I'll try searching for a replay with this character, but one question though: you're sure it's not well-placed stickers? I think I remember seeing someone with this blood pattern that you're talking about but I never gave it some thoughts.

Actually I think I got some background frame items from leveling up in the ranking. I don't remember seeing that my PLAYER level went up when the notice of new frame items were unlocked.
Also, a little question: can you confirm if you have unlocked the Tiger Lily breast plate? It's quite a revealing light armored top with a scale-ish look around the rib area.

I can, I can't remember what level I got it but it is indeed there. I'm level 62 or at least around there.

Much appreciated. When I saw some of the Tiger Lily items unlocked, I was hoping this will be part of it. Are the Tiger Lily Pauldrons also unlocked? (not Tiger Pauldrons; it's different). Thanks in advance!

Those are too, still don't know what level though but I have them.
 
I heard there was a way to export the photos on the CAS mode to the PS3 XMB and use it as a wallpaper, is that true?

Yes, at anytime in CAS, whether in "view mode" or in the editing menu, you can press the PS button and scroll to the "photos" column. Search for "Save Screenshot [SOULCALIBUR V]" and follow the prompt. There you go! It will be saved in your HDD in 1280x720, .PNG, and you can use it as wallpaper, or even transfer it to your computer if you have an USB key.
