Licensing problems pretty much mean that GG is over, unless Arc Systems feeling like paying SEGA to use their own characters. That's why Project BB was started.

If there's any reason why it's done it's that Ishiwatari didn't want to work on it anymore. Which seemed to be the case as he got less and less involved in the projects

Regarding the questions about the licensing for GG, in the latest interview with the ArcSys guys they mentioned some like"We can't say much about that except to say that the rumors are basically true." I don't feel like tracking it down right now but I may later.

If Accent Core is the last Guilty Gear game to come out, I'm O.K. with that. It's relatively balanced and it seems like it could last a looooooooong time in the competitive scene.

Yeah I just played through Robo's story. Not going to lie, I lawl'd at a good chunk of that.

This Robo's story is vastly different than the one we saw in #Reload. But this one is pretty funny.

What other games does Arcsys make? If GG is their best game, then if Sega bought the company and decides to scrap GG altogether, what was the point of even buying it?

Sega didn't buy GG, they bought Sammy that owned rights to GG. So they just kinda happened upon the rights and want to squeeze some money out of it.

I beleive that they are making blazblue independent of Sega to show that they don't need Sega's licenses to be successfull. Sega only owns the GG rights as a side effect, they bought sammy for various other reasons.
