i was trying to go for something a lil more local since Super is a 40 min drive and eats my gas. But if nothing else happens, I'll be forced to go tomorrow. :P
 
does Watson usually charge for bringing a setup or does he let that slide?

he usually doesn't charge. although he charge me last time for the first time

but then again, I have my setup running from like 3p - 3am ... so I guess it's understandable haha
 
yeah it is an arcade after all and he's gotta make that money

last week binkley brought his setup and watts let us play but its prolly cuz he was helping commando with the stream
 
We're trying to have SCV be one of the "marquee" games as well as Capcom games (Marvel, SF). We will have 2 PS3s there tomorrow with SCV so come on down and body me so I learn some stuff the hard way. XD

I suppose if people wanted to play KOF XIII or MK9 we could accommodate that too...but no one has yet. =P

Also there's another weekly tourney this Sunday. SPMAN are you planning on going this Sunday? If so, can you bring your PS3 + copy of the game? I am trying to lock down PS3s so we have a good number of stations for the tourney.
 
I'll probably be there tomorrow. I'm down to teach you guys some stuff if you want. I often try to anyway while I'm playing casuals but not too much because I don't wanna sound like a dick

I want this to happen too. I think the game is interesting enough, we just need people to step outside their comfort zone and try a 3D fighter. Maybe we should have training sessions. I'd be down show up and coach people on basics.
 
i like this thread :D i should be streaming tonight. stream station will be 2 of 3 winner stays rules. going to alternate SF,MvC, & SC5. btw if any one has a copy of KoF for the PS3 that i can use bring it with ya. see you guys tonight casuals will start at 8PM super charges $5.00 to play all night + you get a free drink. reminder this is BYOC

I've been trying my best with the IE guys, a lot of them are trying the game out. Of course, a lot of them are like "In a Capcom game this/I would _____" and then I go "This isn't a Capcom game!" XP

I think there is a legitimate fear this game ends up like MK and the community drops off like crazy. I guess we'll see with SFxT coming out soon.

Anyways I'll see some of you guys tonight. I need to work on my footsies.

Note we are off this weekend, but we should be back every weekend in March. This is the first weekend we've taken off since January.

Also ANYONE can show up to these, you don't have to know me so if people like Vicious and Banes want to roll out to this feel free too. (I know it's quite a drive for you guys.) It's not like Fight Club where you need to know someone. =P
