Just a heads up. If you call into ManaWerx and the employee tells you he doesn't know about a tournament tonight, that does not mean there is not one.

I've confirmed the tournament with the manager Aaron and it beings at 9pm tonight.
 
Voldo fell a little bit short tonight, but I don't even care, because hot damn! AZ was REPRESENTING tonight. Everyone showed improvement from the last tourney I made it out to, and I saw some really good, high level shit all around. We're getting the best turnout out of any Soul Calibur game so far, and everyone is is taking their game to the next level. UAT on Friday guys, I look forward to seeing everyone there, except for DrDogg who's off to win Final Round 15.

We almost had a flawless stream tonight but twitch.tv and justin.tv died during grand finals (nothing wrong on our end). We lost the final two games KPC played of the last match which he ended up winning.
 
I'm really sorry guys. My immune system has actively hated me the past few weeks. I couldn't do anything. =/

Next one I'll for sure make. I'll also make the next UAT tourney. May even bring a friend who wants to get into SCV to the next biweekly. I'll try to train him up for it.

I did watch though - you guys are getting pretty good. <3
 
Had a blast guys, def a lot if fun and good games to everyone I played. I'll host sessions every now and then at my spot, if you guys want to play just let me know and I'll see what I can do. Can't wait for the next one and I'll be there Friday at uat
 
had a blast last night. My goal was to get top 5 and i missed it by one game. I'm more hunger than ever now to get that top 5 and improve from there. To bad i can't make it out on friday due to work. But GGs to everyone i played last night
 
I'm freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Thanks to everyone who came out and especially to The Digital Dojo guys for streaming it and whoever was running the tournament for handling that always thankless task. I'm not sure how frequently I can make it out there -- I'm wondering if bringing another setup would make things go quicker, which in turn mean I can actually get home and get more than 4 hours of sleep before work. :p

Looking back at the matches, holy shit did I get earfed by kPc in that winner's bracket set. Getting owned by someone from the mid-Atlantic, giving me flashbacks to a decade past.
 
great shit last night to everyone, wanted to do better but i lost to dave and jimmy so i cant complain
 
sorry I stunk it up so bad, pretty disappointed in myself. to go from 3rd place to dead last is quite a drop. I fell victim to simply not knowing my match-ups. i wasn't able to keep my offense going cause I was too busy blocking shit and trying to punish/interrupt moves im not familiar with, and the end result was my ass getting fed to me. I'm now familiar with aeon,voldo and astaroth match-ups, but thats about it.

I did see lots of good play all around though, good shit.

i apparently need to play online more.

Friday nights are no good for me so I wont be able to make the UAT tourney.

oh, and where is that wake of devastation dr.dogg left?

Yea the plan was to have at least 3 set ups, I was hoping for 4 but things just fell through at the last minute. In the future things should run a lot quicker.
 
ill gladly bring a set up, so was everything recorded yesterday is there a way i can view the stream from last night
 
Good game to everyone I play, I have a great time, wish my nerve was a little better I make too many mistake with Nightmare to count. Thank you to everyone that set up the tourney. I wish the weekly tourney is a little closer to Gilbert though, me and my cousin kind of got in trouble with my aunt. If there anymore tourney or casual plz post it here with the address I like to go to as many as I can go.

Oh and Good luck to everyone that is going to final round, I think drdogg said he is going....good luck! (we will be watching).

Just a friendly reminder that UAT is hosting a free Soulcalibur V tournament tonight around 8pm. The address is 2625 W. Baseline, Tempe. Tourney is in room 201 upstairs in the main building. We may have some old school games as well. Thanks to those of you who already plan to come out.
